Good thing about the trust kit is you can bolt it up .. comes with *everything*.. the little brackets, screws, even a replacement washer bottle if used in conjunction with their front plenum.

Guy in melb did it in one night and about as mechanically minded as me (not much).. so install is 0 dollar

Well I have a definite roadmap to follow, but after having a good look at R33 GTR prices lately I am thinking of maybe abandoning the project and investing (if such a word can be applied to cars) in the GTR

thats what bothers me, yes I can afford to buy one as they are relatively cheap, but at the end of the day the maintenence costs are still the same as associated with a 100K car

yeah.. definitely -- if you have money to spend may as well put it to a GTR.

With me as my car came with most mods at a price not too much more than your "average" gts-t.. i saved a heap there.. but to be honest now I could install what is on my car myself so i guess that takes a lot of it out. The costs of labour on some performance items is a bit of a joke to be honest.

Everything i get somebody else to do something i get stung, i get angry and vow the next thing i am doing myself

well there is always buy an m3 a couple of years old.. s2000 .. lots of nice cars out there now a few years old for under or around $50k

GTR aren't the be and end all.. i've been in my mates GTR. Its fast, it got grunt but its still a "Nissan R33" you can never escape that aspect.

Guys i have a hybrid cooler and i reckon its just as good as the jap brand ones.........theres nothing wrong with the coolers, people just have the shits that the piping doesnt line up properly and it can be a bitch to install.

They flow just as good and is fine for street use. Unless you want a drag monster this cooler will be fine.

After i installed it the car felt much better through the mid and upper rev range and my knock levels went down quite significantely.

lol.. funny.. when i think i bought a whole 2nd hand car for less than the price of just an ECU or turbo purchase, i wonder sometimes.. am i losing the performance bug? today i drove 200km to the GC and back, it felt like i was driving a family sedan

yeah....i feel the same sometimes...and let's face it, there aren;t that many opportunities to use the performance value to its full potential these days, but could you really see yourself being happy driving a barina??????......maybe one day

I personally wouldn't go for the HYBRID because I have been told to steer clear of them. You mose well have your standard cooler there because it flows about the same. They are cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I am saving up to buy the Apexi GT cooler. I really like the look of it and the size.

But that's just my 2 cents.. you may not agree.
