i only got 235's and 17s.. not massive..

crappy tyres though.. but it doesn't seem to be that, its just the whole "sit" of the car feels weaker than it should. Its hard to explain.

I was only joking ;p

has the car been in a big accident that you are aware of?

(apart from the ones you were in)

yeah i don't get that.. because when we stopped halfway up the mountain.. i remember talking to him, saying yeah, its fine to have cars with balls to keep up, but its those slower cars and/or that handle badly are the ones that are becoming a concern. the mirage was turbo'ed anyhow..

I'd thought he already had read it? hmm

Seems phat mirage has cracked the shits and left the forum... did i miss something?

Oh, he drives a mirage and took offence to the no non-skylines thread... interesting concept

Saw that, hmmmm

He is a nice guy ......... pity

now he may never make the upgrade cause he thinks we are elitist snobs

well thats the thing.. i got over the whole "skylines are so great" ages ago.. and hell even bored of it a little so its good to have something different. FWD + turbo is always good for mountain runs (well thats what he did say he'd built it up for). hopefully he comes back.

That's kinda why I don't really have any objections to other forum members who don't have skylines joining in on the Thursday event.

Big Skyline event cruises are a different story and people just tagging along in their "whatever" because they're mates of someone who is a member is a no go

then it was smooths idea to to the whole fully sic new SAU flier body kit to owned :D got some great pics  at least he has some to hand out now

That was my idea :(

Oh wait... no Smooth aka Matt (not Charly nor James (parking lot joke sorry)) thought of it... yeah thats right... Matt...

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
