hey Ska, Do you remember me? I went to that caliper painting thing about 3months back. I helped you sand back the chrome on the Skyline lettering on the rear filler panel so you could put a green neon tube behind it...

How are you going mate?

mmmmm the greeeeen goblin :ghost:

your welcome man, I think you should do what you planned. It would look mad

I've been up to a lot. I got myself another car and this one's a keeper.

It has an rb20det ECCS "silvertop" engine (r32) rb25 5spd manual gearbox (r33) wolf3d v3 EMC. (not plugin or piggy backed. Just standalone) Koni front & rear adjustable suspension. Lowered King springs, a Supra FMIC etc... not to shabby

Will be getting a hybrid FMIC core size 600x300x76 3" inlets and piping. I'm buying a highflowed VG30 for the time being and then getting a HKS GT2535 turbo rated at 400hp. Followed by 550cc injectors and a GTR fuel pump. Oh and a Apexi AVC-R duel soloniod? boost controller.

cyrus,

Just asking you this one sice you're the only computer nerd on here at the moment. Is it possible to (on a network) enable a computer to access downloads to update virus buster software on the net without someone having Browser access? I guess my question is also, if I delete IE will I still be able to download stuff from the internet through the virus buster program??

It depends:

? How is the Internet connection connected to the network? (ie is there a firewall?)

If you have a firewall setup then it will then depend on how it is setup.

But to give a guess, yes as long as you have access to the internet (browsing) then all other types of internet access _should_ work, but if they do not then you know it is being blocked somewhere, and all you need to do is find out where it is being blocked and allow it to go through, pretty easy.

Oh did I mention you cant really delete IE, or uninstall it as it is an integral part of windows, well you could probably try it, but dunno what effects it might have as the core OS uses parts of IE, well that is what i am lead to believe, but will probably be proved wrong by a bigger, nerdier person, :)

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
