well done! yeah I have tried and failed to flare one before. it's not easy but I can see it could be made to work. solid lines are the best way for as much length as you can use them for so it's a good idea. they are not porous so no smell and much cheaper than running meters of telfon line with stainless braid.

diff mount looks interesting too.

Cause it's a shitter 31 :)

jks nick

31 diff housing is a lot stronger than later model shortnose housings :P

gonna look into using hicas lines soon, probs gonna need twin 044s for e85 or e42.5. anyone tried simply putting some welds onto the end of the hicas lines and then clamping a hose onto it? like with cooler pipes

^^ in regards to the % duty on 1000's I sailed past 50 % duty of my ID 2000's VERY early on into the tuning process.... I didnt take much notice of what the Duty was at the end of it but personally I would be putting in the 2000's in.

What fuel pressure did you end up running...?

  • 3 weeks later...

They are a pain in the arse to flare but it can be done - there's no way you will get a proper double flare on them though.

nice setup - i wonder if there is the same clearance on the r32gtr between the diff & tank?

For anyone searching in the future, recently a GTR managed 707awkw through twin 044's on E85. Thanks NYTSKY for the headsup!!!

the boys @ powertune also had a similar result & making over 600awkw or 700awkw

I've got x2 044 w/ tomei lift pump and I'm buying some 14mm id2000's.

RB30 + new EFR8374 + E85 should be an interesting combo.

Snap....Almost exactly the same as me, I have a Nismo lifter and ID1000's (Which will prob be too small for E85)

Have you got your EFR yet? I'm still waiting for mine, I have the .92a/f T4 internal W/G one coming.

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
