OK so Basically.. I have a 93 SSS Pulsar With a Gti-r engine inplace, but not finished

and parts left over from a 32 GTR Wreck.

I have 3 weeks to get it all gone so im offering the WHOLE lot for 3.5k!

The car is still regd. just needs money spent finishing it, its pretty dusty atm as i have no time to finish it and have

been trying to for the past 6 months.

Im going to Bali on the 20th of december and it has to be gone before i leave.

Info.

Bought the SSS Turbo Pulsar with a W10 SR20DET motor 2 years ago, car had 180hp ATW bottom end started knocking so i bought a new motor GTi-R SR20DET The enging came with a reciept for a $3000 rebuild so its fresh. I dont have the time to finish this as I now have a new car and need to get this gone as my dad wants his unit back after cristmas break I bought the car for $7000 spent 5K on repairs and now bought the engine for $3000 plus shipping the engine is in the car but still have to connect fuel lines, wiring harness, front wheels, CV / drive shafts to G/Box and other bits and pieces. I NEED THIS GONE soon so im selling the whole lot for $3000! thats Registered Car, with custom plates SSSLOW, Newly rebuilt Turbo engine, Speakers, Deck, Amps, Pwr Windows, GTR Style Front body kit (optional) Old engine with bottom end knock, Wiring harnesses, Front mount intercooler and more all for the price of the engine alone! al you eed to do is finish it. Ok so pics at the top are pretty much how i got it.

pics lower are with the bar i had on it before i started the engine swap, now it has the FMIC im not sure it would fit on that bad but i still have the old one going with the car,

being a SSS is this car set up to be front wheel drive or in the GTiR engine conversion has it be converted to AWD?

cheers

I say for that price it is front wheel drive, and that engine that is in the pic isnt a GTIR engine ,or it has had the quad throttle bodies removed and standard sss intake and manifold put on.I say that if thats the old engine it is actually out of a u13 bluebird similar to gtir but not gtir, no dolid lifters, quad throttles, better head etc.

Just to confirm, i did say that they are old pics, the new engine is in fact gti-r it does have he quad throttle bodys better head etc I have put the engine in the car but it is not completly finished yet due to lack of time but the new engine is gti-r the pic is the old motor

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
