How about some ROTA's for that kinda money?

I got mine locally from Vision R, their about 990 for the whole set

Wei's got stock in atm, so you could go check it out :)

Just be careful, his customer service was kinda annoying,

First he told me he didnt have the wheels i wanted and they were only coming in in about a month, then he told me that he actually already has some in stock in my size, and that i could pick it up anytime, when i called to say i wanted to pick em up, he said hes never actually had em in and the shipment was coming in 2 weeks, and that 2 weeks became 4 weeks.

I was also promised a set of wheel nuts from him worth $99, I never got em and had to pay another $80 for a set where I got them fitted :(

When I told him about what happened with the wheel nuts, he said I never told him I wanted the wheels when he had that special going ... but as i'd been bugging him about the wheels and sent him an email saying yes please confirm that order ...

But ATM he just got in a whole shipment of wheels, so the waiting problem shouldnt happen! Just make sure to be very clear, and maybe try to get anything he says down in writing or something if you deal with him :)

It's most likely the cheapest way to get in ROTA's since its in Perth

have a look at em at www.visionr.com.au

Im not too sure what else you can get under that kinda budget ... and most people flame ROTA's but hey if thats all the budget is and your happy with em, thats all that really matters :)

*edit* oops i didnt see your not in WA

in that case you could also check out the ROTA australia website, theres also another retailer in sydney i think that sells em for a similar price to wei

Good luck :)

Where abouts are those rims Terry?

I'm just suggesting you leave your e-mail addy and query with "topten" Justin about 18" deals they can offer you.

They say lightweight > ask them how light for an 18" rim.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
