rego and insurance all run out in a couple days and the 100k has just clicked over. Im leaving for Thailand in a couple months for around 6 months. I dont want to spend money getting her back on the road untill i get back.

I have a garage where she will stay but what other things can i do so i can come back to a healthy car.

make sure there isn't too much fuel in the tank so you can put some fresh stuff in when you get back.

6 months isn't that long so i wouldn't be too concerned about it. maybe just put some fresh oil in before you go and then change it when you get back.

My car has been i storage for around 2 years.

I just leave it on jack stands connect a trickle charger.

Every few months take it out on the driveway start it up let it warm up (mybe around the block).

Do an oil change every 12 months.

In your case just put it on a trickle charger and slightly over inflate the tyres.

jack stands under the suspension or under the chassis rails?

if you leave your suspension at full droop all the time you may seize the shocks

I doubt you seize the shocks (Don't take my word for it though).

Stands should go on strong points of the car. On mine the rear are on the subframe and on the front under suspension points. Do not try the chassis rails as they will instantly crush.
