1x Family + 2x R34 GT-Rs + 3x Sets of Wheels

Perhaps over time, God_speed and myself can post up some more pics - especially when the 3rd set of wheels come back from gutter rash repair.

The 2 cars are * a neat Pearl Black Standard R34 GT-R circa 2000 & * a yet to be polished Bayside Blue V-Spec II R34 GT-R circa 2001

We'll try out different combinations of Car 'n Wheels over time too.

The 3 sets of Wheels are * Rays RE30 in Titanium (offset +15, 10") * Advan RG30 in Gold/Blue (offset +12, 10") * Nismo LMGT4 in Bronze (offset +12, 10.5") all 18s

Black and Blue... Just how I like my women... (Jokes! :P)

here's a couple shots of Matt's new ride.

Calendar shot (pre edit)

This is one of my fav shots. Getting detail from a black car and a white car at the same time under the light we had a bit of fun.

Many thanks Matt and Nathan for your comments

Matthew and I very much appreciate the Matthew Everingham & Kory Leung artistry of optimising the looks of the R34 GT-R.

Here are some more...

The Blue one has yet to have its V-Spec springs to come out from Japan > reinstal

The Black one had an aftermarket (JDM Performance) rear C/F diffuser put on by Peter at Bodyform Aero; and brackets were fabricated to suit. It uses Tanabe springs.

Hey Terry,

Sweet cars you have there :)

Did you buy the bayside blue one with the huge wing like that? Maybe i'm used to looking at the black one but i don't think the Advans suit the bayside blue one for some reason. I've probably been staring at your (Matt's) car for too long hahaha.

Good to see you taking photos of the cars. Take more!!!!!!!

Thanks Kory for your input. I'll try and keep away from any association with pink badges on a blue STi with gold rims lol

Just offering some more...

Thanks everyone for the feedback. And Matt - that pic of the black and white R34s is magic - I can imagine that a fair amount of work went into getting the exposure just right. Backdrop is awesome as well.

I reckon once it's lowered (and should Terry decide to put the original rear wing back on - it came out from Japan with the carbon fibre coffee table) it'll look the goods :) To be modest, :P I think the combination of Bayside + gold RGs will also look more unique than my black BNR34 with the RE30s. I initially wasn't sure what to make of the RE30s on the BNR34, as I chose them for my BCNR33, but the look has grown on me

Ta - Thanks for the flattering but genuinely offered comment on these cars guys.

However, for some time afterwards, we might just post up anything we find interesting...

We luuuv Xenons

R34GTR208.jpg

Ergonomically, these cars are not as driver-oriented as the Supra/4th Gen Prelude/E39-E46 BMW, but driver controls are acceptable.

Nismo bar is more aggressive looking than the standard one.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
