i have the uniden UH-050XR it had a rechargeable battery travels much much further than the little ones.

We've got an incar UHF. With the aerial on the back seat. So the rang isn't really that much better than a handheld. But it's more the convenience of not having to worry about replacing batteries

can you get onto the ICB from milton road? I cant remeber. if so, just follow that out and then onto the gateway

otherwise get the paddington icb exit (so you'll have to take that detour behind maccas and get on the icb its easier for me to just go over the gateway and then to the plae, its not really worth the fuel to go all the way over there then back
