Sup fellas, a couple of weeks ago some failure of a person drove into my rear bumper whilst I was parked in a carpark and left me with a massive hole/crack in my rear bar :domokun: .

I've decided not tor repair it and go for a new one, guess its good motivation to finally get the eastbear kit lol.

Anyways just asking here first if someone has a rearbar and/or skirts lying around and willing to sell, remember im after 4door GTT parts - so normal GTT parts will not be the same.

cheers, jared.

Also one more thing, if it so happens that noone has any of these parts for sale (which is what im expecting.), whats the best place to get these parts, dont really want to pay heinous delivery prices since im only getting 3 parts.

we are an East Bear dealer in Japan,

however your delivery charges are always going tobe aproblem, due to your location & the size of the aero parts you want

How much do u recon u could get a set of skirts and rear bar for, delivered to QLD aus.

Powerplay will do it for me for $2185.

+ $90 shipping per box, so $180 for shipping total for 3 items.

hi for large parts like a front bumper, they go via a specialist logistics courier, that is the only way out of Japan (EMS and SAL) wont take them, they are too large

(over 1.5meters)

the courier company invoice you for the freight, we have no control over their cost.

However, no one can ship an east bear bumper from japan to you for $90,

If you want to dicuss it, you can email me :)

Depends...

The company quoting the price would probably be throwing it in with one of their regular container of parts or car/s thus they only charge for the space it takes and charge a percentage of the costs of their container.

So could quite feasibly be the quoted price.

via a container yes but not air freight, which is what thsi would be, with about a 7 day turn around time.

can just put $100 value on the box if you wish

Bit of a heads up..

I'd be real wary of devaluing parts at the moment..

Due to the big stink that Harvey Norman boss (Gerry Harvey) and other companies have made recently over the no import tax on anything under $1000 the australian Government & Customs are having a minimum 3 month blitz on all import freight and are checking everything thoroughly.

This includes postal, sea and air freight.

Anything they deem as undervalued will be seized and held until all duty and gst is payed or parts will be destroyed.

I'd be extremely wary of buying/sending anything devalued for awhile.

Definitely wouldnt be saying on an open forum that you can devalue goods as you dont know who is reading the forums and if anyone from customs read this your sending a big flashing red light to any goods being sent by your company.

that would be shipping from Syd to Bris yeah?

i had to lol a bit about finding the stuff for sale, only two cars that i know of that have all the EB stuff, one WA and my old car now in ACT.

Have a crack at it mate if you can, the EB stuff is QUALITY - had so many compliments about my old car and kit over the years. Panel beater said he didn't have to do anything, just paint and fit, one of the best kits he's ever had to work with :)

You can actually get in contact with PowerPlay? amazed that they're still around and functioning

My car is due to have the EastBear kit too. :) Front bumper with lower lip, side skirts and rear bumper. Front bumper is different to the one you had though Daniel. Should be on in a fortnight's time. No lower side skirt or rear pods, but will replaced with a carbon rear diffuser. Will have pics up.

I am definatly having a crack at it.

Starting with rear bar and skirts, ordered them a few days ago.

Once ive got them painted and fitted ill post up some pics, then ill think about the front end conversion, I just dont want my front end to be low to the ground as I live in ipswich atm and these roads are f*kT.

I'm putting the kit on a 01 25GT-T and I have allready put some GT-R rims on her lolz (Should have just got a GTR -.-).

Guess ill update in like 8 weeks when they arrive.... sigh.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
