Aaron has found the limits of his custom 3 inch mild steel system and has upgraded to an 80mm kaki R so his old one is up for grabs. He wants $500 ono.

Aaron(NM35): 0403 579 121

Throw him an offer, I want it gone from my driveway.

Thanks.

sunday :) goodbye gearbox lol

come have a geez if ya want!

Hey Aaron, how loud is this one? Not as loud as your new one I guess, but is it a young fellas exhaust or family man's exhaust?

Hell yeah... What time?

im getting there with scott around 9am. so should be sometime after that

Hey Aaron, how loud is this one? Not as loud as your new one I guess, but is it a young fellas exhaust or family man's exhaust?

it got sound tested at 91 DB on "bark back" from 3800rpm so its noticable. but not TOO loud.

it was leaking, but all it needed was a new gasket

This exhaust has magnaflow mufflers and an EPA legal Catco Catalytic converter.

Bolts directly to the Stock dump or Scottys dump!

need this gona asap!

shipping my prove to be a little deer.

im happy to help out with shipping if interstate.

to Perth it was $260 (which is rediculous)

preferrably pick up in SE Melb, or i can drive it to you..

or you may have to pay for shipping.

Hi Aaron, I have the M35 Axis 03, I have been a long time reader of this forum and think you car sounds incredible (think I read somewhere 0-100 in 4.5. Insane!)

Your current offer has brought me out of hiding, so just to clarify...

My car (currently stock) produces around 200kw at the fly so maybe 130awkw?

Are you saying that with this exhaust and an aggressive tune I can achieve 230kw at the wheels?

PS: what is "Bark Back"

0-100 in 4.5? whered you read that? we have a low throttle restriction which would allow it i dont think..

this exhaust has been proven to flow up to 230 kws with the supporting mods.

we know the suction pipe max's at 200kw atw. and so does the standard FMIC and the dump pipe.

Bark Back is when you hold the rev's at 3800rpm(our EPA Test Rev) and release the accelerator. the rev's dropping is louder than increasing..

it had something like 91db or 92db which was border line legal.

but this exhaust allowed me to run 230kw on 98RON.

if your interested pm me.

When Aaron says up to 230awkw, he means the exhaust is capable of flowing that number...not just bolt the exhaust on and you'll get 230awkw....u'll need all the supporting mods PLUS a tune.

our car does around 140awkw stock I believe...or was it 145? Its about 30% drivetrain loss for us...

I highly doubt we can do 4.5sec 0-100 with our lame throttle restriction...best I've done (timed using a phone app/GPS, so not sure accurate) was 5.3sec. This is on LPG @ 250awkw...and by all means I'm not the best driver either!

lol its auto how could you stuff it up.

i wish i could do it in 4 seconds though. would be pretty awesome.

SOooo whos buying the exhaust?

the transmission loss doesnt cost 30% of total power.

it costs around 55kw, no matter how much power you have :)

not if you have a lock up clutch mod

i gain about 20-30 kw on that 55kw loss perhaps?

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart.
