Well done mate. Think you did a good job getting the bride to look natural and at ease, that's not easy, right? What was the venue?

Here's one of a few shots I took round the back of a disused Holden / Nissan dealership. Originally just wanted to take some quick snaps to test out the location but it ended up looking ok, well, better than I'd expected anyway.

Sometimes its not as they are not comfortable in front of a camera. Thanks for the kind words mate. Lots more pics from that wedding on my blog.

Love your 34 gtr :) Nice clean image I like it. Would look great with a night time shot of the city skyline in the background.

Thanks a lot fellas. Nice to get your feedback.

So how do you take a good group shot? ...5fps? A lot of kudos to you guys doing wedding photos, wouldn't want to confront the bridal party if the photos didn't come out they way they expected, there's so much emphasis on the day being 'perfect' and all.

Which one? The last one I posted? I climbed a roof hahah. Dangerous but worth it and only way to get a shot of everyone. Even at 24mm on full frame i couldnt get everyone in, even after telling everyone to get in closer or go to the back.. Some people dont listen (not saying about that shot above, but at most weddings I have been too). I cant force them too. If they dont listen then just have to go with it.

Sidd, I have to agree with Matt and Kory - your photos are just getting better and better! And like Matt, I would never agree to be a wedding photographer. It'd be more pressure than I want to handle making sure everything goes right, because it's one day you can't really go back and repeat.

Matt, nice work with the 34 too! Looks like a good location.

Thx Nick :)

Yeah Terry and I took some night shots of both the black and blue GTRs, but the results were a bit mixed. Only got a D70 (very small screen) so it's hard to get a handle on how well the pics turn out until I get it back on the latop. I'll have to invest in some umbrellas...?

Hey Sidd, haha I mean muliple frames per second, because it's hard to get so many people synchronised.

In that group shot, sidd would of instructed them what to do.

For e.g. Everybody wave at me! Snapped a few shots.

Everybody jump! Snap a few.

etc etc..

Best to take multiple shots but not spraying away. 5DII can't even do 5fps anyway :P

Yup I would have instructed them. You have to be quick as people dont like standing around. So you have to get your settings right in the first few clicks and quickly adjust.

I like the group shot I did for this wedding: http://sidd-rishi.com.au/blog/2/laura-and-christophers-wedding-part-1/

The black and white looks awesome. I even printed it onto my sample album.

Nice shots there matty boy. Would be a good place for a model shoot.

cheers,

a model shot... never thought about it but yeah I can picture what I'd do there. just need to T up a model, and some time. and some wheels. grrrrr.

I've just posted a couple more wallpapers up on my site. there's a 33(PEZMOBILE) and some Work. Haven't posted anything up. been on holidays and busy. will get back into the swing of things.

ok, so the april shoot didn't happen. it's to cold and you'd need to get up to early for a sunrise at the moment.

so change of plans. let's hit up the city for an adventure and get some night shots of some icons and maybe even some muck around shots. I'm thinking later in the month might be easier to plan for...

thoughts?

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
