Nice one! I doubt I'm going to bother with the cage and getting it andra spec but I'll cross that bridge once I get there. Once I get kicked out of WSID I'll do the odd trip to Heathcote and then probably find something else such as Wakie to occupy my time :)

Funny you should mention that... I've got an R33 GTR Vspec box in it at the moment and It's not real happy with me after the last trip. It's currently at CRD getting the box rebuilt with an OS Giken 5 speed gearset. I've got to say though, the box that was in it did handle a fair hiding and I was suprised it held up so well!

Nah I will not be putting nos in it, that's probably the last thing I'd do.

I'll most probably b looking at sum suspension or diffs to help get off the line better and I'd look at e85 to get more power out of the current set up.

But these things will happen over the next year or so

Yeah i understand that.

Just thought it might be a good idea while ive got it out to get it stripped and checked out before it copes a beating

Also the fella thats goin to do it for me is goin to do a mod to stop the 4th syncro from wearing out which seems to be a pretty common problem

hey man good to hear you got 10s after all that hard work that nyt after u ran 11.007

i ended up leavein after that run still couldnt get into fourth gear..

i ended up with a 12.4 rollin the last quarter so now im gettin my gear box sorted

they told me that the standard fourth syncro just didnt like the high revs and high speed so wouldnt go in

so now looking at getting a fourth straight cut gear put in the back to the track

and if i had the money id buy your stockies

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
