Update, Glenn dyno tuned my car on Thursday and did a great job as per usual. Met Grant and Aaron as well, thinking about giving them my dirty 30 to play with [as a spare and to install when I'm ready]. Good team of guys, esp. impressed with grants cleanliness and attention to detail with a 2JZ he was assembling for someone.

And my tune [so my world] is good.

I'd love a hand grabing that 2JZ for sons MKIII. He blows more weed than cheech and chong used to.

Im told you can do a 1j top and a 2j bottom end.

Like the RB30/26 which apparently the supra guys call a 1JZ. Bastards....lol

Oh and hi :action-smiley-069:

Notice you didnt drop by for a cold drink...Maaaaaaaaaaaate

That would be my engine that Grant is playing with, should be ready in 2 weeks to so I can run it in and then a full tune by Glen. Then it goes across the path to Naz to have some 'stuff' done. Almost 5 months since it's been off the road so I'm pretty keen to get the ol' girl back.

Just to let you know that the ownership of ESP has changed hands and the owners are now Glen and Grant as of today and Daniel now has nothing to do with the business.

    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
    • Ahhhh... If you were putting 12V to the led in there, that's likely made it very unhappy. Chances are how you put power, was 12V across an LED that's meant to only have about 20mA through it at peak, and a forward voltage of about 1.8 to 2.4 volts. That circuit is likely only a 3V3 circuit, and will have a resistor in series with the led too. That's my guesstimate on that light, without having touched one.
    • Another vote for installing them and see how you go.  I mean, you already own them, why would you not fit them?
    • I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.
