R34 4 Door
Will an R32 GTR seats bolt straight in to a 4 door R34 GT-T? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/364123-gtr-seats/ Share on other sites
AAARGH 33
R32,33 and 34 have the same seat mountings holes, coupe and sedan, although the brackets may have to be bent slightly to suit the 34,no big hassles. The Bogan
Im pretty sure the 34 GTT floor plan has different mounting points to 32 33 34 GTRs, dont mess about to much with the mounting points or you might get a surprise if you crash or someone crashes into you. Charles89
R34 GTT has different rails/holes compared to 32,33,34 GTR, so it won't work. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/364123-gtr-seats/#findComment-5811560 Share on other sites
R34 4 Door
Im pretty sure they will fit if you bend the brackets slightly. thats what it looks like. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/364123-gtr-seats/#findComment-5811854 Share on other sites

It WON'T bolt straight in. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/364123-gtr-seats/#findComment-5812783 Share on other sites

R34 4 Door
okay. thats gay. love gtr seats tho. they sit so much lower, stiffer that you feel every bump on the road & a pain in the ass to get out of too... hahahha Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/364123-gtr-seats/#findComment-5815373 Share on other sites
john-e boi
Had R32 GTR seats in my car. 3/4 bolts lines up. The rear one closest to the door does not line up and requires to be cut and rewelded to fit. Quite an easy job if you're handy with a welder Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/364123-gtr-seats/#findComment-5815651 Share on other sites
R34 4 Door
love your 34 john. looks nice. i only got 2 nuts in on both front seats. pretty stable, unless you wanna jump around on ur seat, then it might move a little bit. lol... jrm
Just consider about what might happen if you happen to have an accident with 2 nuts on.... As someone who was just in an accident - with a seatbelt and all seat factory bolts - where the 50kph rear impact managed to damage the seat - I personally wouldn't recommend it. Also consider both the car and CTP insurance implications. If you're going to do it, do it right then get it engineered. Anything less is sheer stupidity.
