i will respect it when he gets some BBS RS on his. til then it's always gonna be a blue jellybean!!!

and fwiw - i just went for a drive on my lunchbreak..

saw a white JZ30 soarer headed my way..

fibreglass bonnet

vertex kit

pretty clean for a perth soarer

rims

slammed

white with black pinstripe

i blasted my train horn, flashed my high beams. gave him a wave...

..got nothing back..

I only wave/high beam people I know, doesn't matter what the car they are driving.

Problem is 1/2 of the time they don't even know what was going on, I high beamed my dad who was driving his work ute once & he didn't even realise it was me until I wound the window down... :(

Eps man, yumad4? You do a lot of raging about people not waving to you :P

Me, I wave to all imports if I see them in time. And if I'm driving next to one, I give them some bov love and a wave :D I hardly ever get any love back though. Most people look at me like I'm a nutjob. Others think I want to race so they just take off...

At least... :ermm: At least I think that's why they take off...

hahahha love it. eps dont get so upset if you dont get no love.

i wanna c u driving too this song when u dont get a wave.... "what is love? baby dont hurt me, dont hurt me, no more"

:(

My dad doesnt wave to me either, and i drive his car around. Maybe he's to embarrased to wave to a falcon or something

Next to a 180 on the Mitchell the other day cruising at pretty much the same speed. Both of us had windows down, coz I'm a nice bloke I give some love, fingers off the wheel and a nod.

Dumb f**k just speeds off, top bloke.

lol this thread is hilarious, i normally wave or nod to the occasional import but i mostly recieve the cold blooded nothing expression. so yeh, sorta stopped with the nice guy attitude, more into the vin diesel these days, asking people jokingly what the retail on their car is etc.

If you are talking about the one on the rear muffler its standard from factory. opens up after 4k (or there abouts from memory) im going to make mine always open.

I would like to put BBS on mine but im thinking ill go jap to be different.

O/T while driving around on the weekend only saw maroon r33's, seem to be multiplying at a stupid rate.

Probably thought that was the signal to start teh race.

i used to drive a matte black ma61...i miss her sooo much sometimes...

i tend to wave a you line drivers, but never get a response, most probably coz nobody recognizes the JDM 2jz awesomenessness styles of my Aristo!

tend to give thumbs up to fellow old skool cars, as well as silvias n alike!

i'll wave, nod, give cheesy grin to most cars i find worth acknowledging.if you're driving like a tool, then no love.commodores???ummm...there's just none that are special and/or unique(plus the bogan factor, stealthy cam,you know what i'm talkin about)shitboxes,no love.if your car's thirty years old but looks showroom happy,i'll send the love.and this r33 driver doesn't think he's above anyone.i take pride in my car's condition,to the point of anality, bottom line,if ya is friendly,me friendly.if ya car is hawt to trawt(?)then i likes it.

*if me no make sense,it's almost 4am and is best can do.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
