^^^ and he is dead right.

Funny (well ironic) thing in this whole debate, is that you all won't see the truth until it is way too late and you are burning in hell. It is all well and good for you not to have faith and think that when you die the lights go out and that is it. But for the rest of eternity you are going to regret your short sighted decision.

So you had better live life to the fullest while you are here. Your time here on earth is very short compared to the afterlife.

So I will throw the question askers a return question about the Bible, the foundation of Christian faith - if there is no God and it is all made up, can you then honestly maintain that the Bibile is all made up? Historically documented from various sources, with multiple people telling the same stories from different perspectives and persuasions, collated over centuries. Did someone just make up the whole thing and it suddenly became fact?

Everyone has their beliefs and they'll tell you there opinion till the blue in the face.

I'm athiest and the more people talk about religion and there beliefs it make me glad to be one. I call it realist - I can't see it or evidence then its never happened. As Heslo said if there was a higher power then why would HE create disabilities? Why would he not want us all to be equal (gay rights) and why would he take loved ones with the kindest hearts way before there time?

^^^ you need to take those issues up with the devil.

And you will find that the VAST majority of people born with disabilities are born to parents with addictions or bad practices during pregnancy. Fact. Humans are inherenlty evil and bring it on themselves. Again, the devil.

First off, I'm not having a go so don't take it the wrong way, but I'm happy to cop it if I'm wrong in any way.

Do you really think that the world is only 5,000 years old, Andrew?

Even with all the proof to back it up?

Also, with the historical documents. There's no proof to back those up either so I wont start a shit fight over it. All I really know is, scientists have proven earth has been around for 5 billion years, thus disproving the bibles 5,000 year old theory.

Evolution is happening right now, animals, humans, bacteria, yeast ( viruses aren't classified as life). Go looking, and you will find it. Easy not to find stuff, if you don't want to find it, yet I am quite happy to have the truth the sphincter of the universe slapped across my face once it's finally found.

Just like Scientology though, someone made that up, yet some people now are calling it fact and it's only new!

Kye I'm not 100% sure on this but I think there's no reference to how old the earth is in the bible just creation being 6000 years old

Carbon dating by the way has fallen over itself that many times it's not funny. ie. I've heard of bones being discovered that were supposed to be 100 million years old and they turned out to be Mavis's dog that was buried 12 years ago.....lots of shit like that.

Either way guys, there doesn't seem to be enough evidence either way and both systems require a level of faith

Damo is right - it is an argument that can't be won.

But regarding the earth's age - number one fact is that carbon dating has now been found to be completely unreliable. But more importantly; don't you think that a deity capable of creating the Earth and mankind can put fossils (and whatever the heck he likes) in the ground and make them seem any age? Maybe he did it to test people's faith. Maybe he did it so we would have a fuel source. There are millions of maybes.

Fact is that I believe in a higher power, and that those who don't will be summarily dealt with - either at their death or on judement day. If I were a non-believer I would hope that judgement day is not too far off!

And I understand that there are plenty of loonies that preach in the name of all sorts of deities (read: scientologists), and it is easy to discredit religion if that is your aim. Fact is, if you haven't been baptised (and I am guessing that most of you haven't been), then you are controlled by the devil anyhow. It is amazing what he makes people say, believe and do. Believe it or not, it makes no difference to me.

My belief: I live and will die a Christian, and will be going to heaven. Those who don't will live eternity in hellfire. Fullstop.

Fact. Humans are inherenlty evil and bring it on themselves. Again, the devil.

Btw a religion that teaches that is f**king retarded IMO. All it serves is to aid a small group maintain power over the masses. "Do as we say or burn forever!"

<i>so no one turning to jihad</i> <img src="../../public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":P"><br><br>The

debate about religion is never ending. As long as we live together in

harmony, treat each other with respect, we will all learn to get along

just fine :D

The one thing I have to love about religion and those that believe is there always wanting to preech there opinions onto others, athiest on the other hand have to listen to others beliefs about death beds and afterlife, and how those that dont bow down to the son of rajab will suffer.

Was never baptisted and don't believe in any religion what so ever.

Nah thats not true, not everyone who has a faith tries to shove it down others throats. Its like saying that everyone who has an import, street races and drifts in the suburbs.

90% of the time, your faith is determined by how you were brought up.

AtheistLabels.jpg

Whether we want to realise it, we were all born atheists. It's upbringing, parental influences and culture that turn people into believers.

I have no problem with christians, they're welcome to believe whatever they want. I'll continue to question everything, and always look for answers.

AGREE!

Maybe he should have just put Bp98 everywhere instead of making us dig km's underground for it!

But seriously, no I don't believe that someone just put them there. Just seems way to farfeched to even fathom the thought after all the study that I've done for my field of work. I'm no expert and I'm still learning but even the basics tell you otherwise.

I have been baptised and went to a religous school and I wasn't trying to discredit anything.

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
    • I haven’t yet cut the chassis, maybe I switch to a reverse flow. I’ve got the Intercooler mounted as I already had it but not cut yet. Might have to speak to an engineer
