yeah I agree, how about not, I'm getting sick of this debate every 2 days.

legalise gay marriage, and everyone who doesn't like it GET THE F**K OVER IT.

Madaz, I have alot of respect for you, but as Dohmar said, thats your humble opinion.

Apparently a great many people do. Also, that is easily the most inelegant pro gay thing I've heard.

I thought you'd be a little more progressive than that Steve, regardless of religious concerns.

Straight couples have had hundreds of years to make a mess out of the right to be married, let's let someone else have a crack.

And I'll just leave this here;

http://front.moveon.org/two-lesbians-raised-a-baby-and-this-is-what-they-got/#.TteRTV8ooiI.twitter

yes just putting my humble opinion out there like everyone else does

i know a lot of people don't agree with it BUT remember there are "normal" people out there that don't want gay marriage either

anyways didn't want to start up the Kuwaiti oil fires again, i know how you all feel and you know how i feel

People need to remember that the is THE WASTELAND. Short of personally attacking or vilifying anyone, people can do and say in here what they like. People whinging about the amount of religiious or sexual orientation discussions need to remember that 1. there are a handful of posts on both subjects in 84 pages of Wasteland discussion, and 2. no-one is trying to make anyone else do or believe anything - people just put forward their beliefs on subjects - it is not like Madaz or I have EVER asked or tried to influence anyone to go to Church (despite in strict theory we are both SUPPOSED to try to do that), and Jenna is not asking anyone to march in a Gay Pride march .... far from it - we are all just expressing our opinions.

Just remember to play nice poeple - respect each other, as we are all entitled to our own opinions. We don't have to like others beliefs and opinions, but take everything with a grain of salt and some cement too in many cases.

And if you don't like The Wasteland, unsubscribe and DON'T COME IN HERE AND READ IT - no-one is forcing you to. Seriously, if it upsets you that much, delete your SAU account altogether and don't come back.

And yes, I am a craky pants this morning. God help anyone that posts up a for sale ad in the General Section :D

It goes past religion (has nothing to do with it IMO) and comes down to a human beings rights.

The right to LOVE and be loved, unconditionly.

No rules, just pure love.... and what is more special than that ??

+1 to Dohmar's post

I love tits 'n slits, but realizing that not everyone is born this way, I believe with all my soul that every adult deserves to give/receive unconditional 'adult' love, no matter what the gender. Just like every child deserves unconditional 'parental' love, no matter what the circumstances.

It doesnt always work out that way, and the sooner WE as a society work towards a more loving environment, everything in this world will be the better for it.

    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
