Have some tool messaging me saying he's seen heaps of 34 GTT 2 door manuals for $9000,

He's full of crap haha.

Definately the cheapest i've seen now.. I can't beleive this hasnt sold yet..

Message the dude back and tell him to go buy one of those then and f**k off

My god prices have gone down hard. I havn't really looked into Skyline prices for a while. I still remember R34 GTT's being $35k-$40k when I bought mine 5 years ago.

Goodluck with the sale man.

Check this guy out that was messaging me:

Me:

You were the guy that offered me $6400 the other day? Do you actually have $11,999?

Him:

No it's wasn't me I have only 10k

Me:

It came from the same email as yours? I'm not going any lower. I've already dropped it from $15k which is a massive drop and this car is worth $15k. I'd take $10k now and allow a month or 2 to pay the other $2000.

Him:

That's all I have u can even take off the rwc

Me:

If I get desperate enough I'll let you know. Thanks anyway.

Him:

How bad do u want it gone?? Cause with10k u can pay ur wedding

Me:

Yeah but I also need enough money to buy another car as well. As I said I'll let you know if I get desperate enough. Cheers.

Him:

I've got another car like ur's I might buy for 9 k so if can take 10 that will b awesome ???

Me:

Buy that one then! Haha cya mate

Him:

Ok good luck ur's it's only worth 10k any ask anyone it's to many k's on it

Me:

Whatever you think mate. Ask anyone On skylines Australia. They will tell you the right price and I'm well below. In fact go on car sales an you will see mine is the cheapest in the country! Don't waste my time. Bye.

Him:

I'm wasting ur time I'm offering 10k cash green money u don't want c ya mate

Me:

Yeah for a car that everyone knows is worth more cept you. You don't deserve this car coz you don't see the value or worth in it! Laters.

Haha, I did say to the guy that I might get desperate enough, But I know he's bluffing even with the $10k as he was definitely the same guy that offered me only $6400 a few weeks ago.

O well, hopefully I have a good buyer soon :)

I realise it's a buyers market but people like that shouldn't be allowed to own a 34 haha.

I love people that always say "I'll pay cash" how else are they going to pay? You're not a car yard where you can accept cash and do some magic with the tax records, you're a private seller and you don't need to declare the sale at all. Cash = Bank Cheque = the only way you can buy a car, or are there really that many people trying to use magic beans? Tards

ahh sad to see your selling it i get my license back in 2 weeks and 3 days

mate i paid $16k for mine 9 months ago 98 model gtt manual 19'' rims blitz bc dual screen, dvd player turbo back exhaust genuine 90 000kms

yours is great for that price

it should sell easy??

Couldn't agree more.

I don't know any other form of paying haha.

I'd actually prefer someone transfer the amount straight into my account rather than handing it over in $100 or $50 bills, it'll end up being deposited straight into my account regardless haha.

Wow that 6 months has gone so quick!

Probably felt like ages for you haha.

Yeah it should sell easy but it's not. Losing a bit of money on it unfortunately having to sell it quickly.

But someone should come along and snatch it up :)

i wouldnt have gone on that long...

sounds like you wasted your time replying...

after he aid 10k, you did the right thing by saying no thanks and that should have been it...

if he replys again just ignore

i know it just flew by and i did not even think about driving it

(apart from when i started it every week or 2 )

hope you can sell it at a decent price bro

it looks well cared for on that note nice video too

will be out at some meets when im on the road bro see you round mate

:D

The fact that p platers cant get turboed cars makes it difficult to sell these cars these days.

Yours does have highish k's but still at that price its stupidly cheap.

Yeah the dealer low balled me to $8k....

biggest joke haha.

He would have put it in the yard for 18k.... That lowballer is a tool, the price your asking is MORE than low enough. I'm going to be spewing when this sells and I have to pay 18k for one, lol.

    • So I mentioned the apprentice, @LachyK helped take the bonnet off. We just undid the nuts on the hinges and unclipped the gas struts, then pulled the bonnet back a little as the front was catching on the front bar.  I had a good look at everything today and have removed the rams, repaired/reset the hinges and bolted it back together like it never happened. I'll do a separate write up on the repair, and I also removed the poppers from the Fuga today too to save grief down the road.....as said above it is at least $5k to repair retail. I'm also happier about my ability to prepare a race car, and less happy about Nis-nault's engineering (I can hear @GTSBoy sAfrican Americaning) because the top hose of the radiator didn't slip off.......it snapped clean off. By practice I put the hose clamp hard up against the flare on a neck to make it least likely to ever move (thanks @Neil!). I guess that puts a little more pressure on the end of the pipe as it is further away from the rad, but still, that is pretty shit. I've put it back on for now as there was a fair bit of neck still there, but obviously there is no lip on the neck any more so I don't think I'll track it again until I have a new rad. Speaking of which....more research required. It looks like Koyo makes a standard size radiator in ally which I'll grab in the meantime, but I really want something thicker so might have to go custom in the medium term (ouch) Coolant still needs a refill and I have the pressure tester on it over night, but other than a wash down of the engine bay it seems alright. And @MBS206 noted something noisy on the front of the engine and I think I agree....time for a new accessory belt and tensioners I think.
    • our good friends at nismo make a diff for it, I have one (and a spare housing to put the centre in) on the way. https://www.nismo.co.jp/products/web_catalogue/lsd/mechanical_lsd_v37.html AMS also make a helical one, but I prefer mechanical for track use in 2wd (I do run a quaife in the front, but not rear of the R32)
    • What are we supposed to be seeing in the photo of the steering angle sensor? The outer housing doesn't turn, right? All the action is on the inside. The real test here is whether or not your car has had the steering put back together by a butcher. When the steering is centred (and we're not caring about the wheel too much here, we're talking about the front wheels, parallel, facing front) then you should have an absolutely even number of turns from centre to left lock and centre to right lock. If there is any difference at all then perhaps the thing has been put back together wrongly, either the steering wheel put on one spline (or more!) off, and the alignment bodged to straighteb the wheel, or the opposite where something silly was done underneath and the wheel put back on crooked to compensate. Nut there isn't actually much evidence that you have such a problem anyway. It is something you can easily measure and test for to find out though. My money is still on the HICAS CU not driving the PS solenoid with the proper PWM signal required to lighten the load at lower speed. If it were me, I would be putting either a multimeter or oscilloscope onto the solenoid terminals and taking it for a drive, looking for the voltage to change. The PWM signal is 0v, 12V, 0V, 12v with ...obviously...modulated pulse width. You should see that as an average voltage somewhere between 0V and 12V, and it should vary with speed. An handheld oscilloscope would be the better tool for this, because they are definitely good enough but there's no telling if any cheap shit multimeter that people have lying around are good enough. You can also directly interfere with the solenoid. If you wire up a little voltage divider with variable resistor on it, and hook the PS solenoid direct to 12V through that, you can manually adjust the voltage to the solenoid and you should be able to make it go ligheter and heavier. If you cannot, then the problem is either the solenoid itself dead, or your description of the steering being "tight" (which I have just been assuming you mean "heavy") could be that you have a mechanical problem in the steering and there is heaps of resistance to movement.
    • Little update  I have shimmed the solenoid on the rack today following Keep it Reets video on YouTube. However my steering is still tight. I have this showing on Nisscan, my steering angle sensor was the closest to 0 degrees (I could get it to 0 degrees by small little tweaks, but the angle was way off centre? I can't figure this out for the life of me. I get no faults through Nisscan.
    • The BES920 is like the Toyota Camrys of coffee machines. E61 group head is cool, however the time requirements for home use makes it less desirable. The Toyota Camry coffee machine runs twin boilers and also PID temp control, some say it produces coffees as good as an E61 group head machine.
