Need To Choose A Rim Colour.

hey guys,

wouldnt mind some thoughts on colours i can paint my rims..

i dont like the FULL chrome look so wanting to change the centers. or even the whole thing.

i have a maroon (ah3) r32.

i had cst's which were bronze and they suited well, also had white te37's and they suited well.

so i was thinking black centers or a flat gold..

thoughts?

Go Bronze again but depending on the style of wheel.

Gold may look a little too 'showy'.

You could try white as maroon car and white wheels look nice.

But I think in this case, Black will suite it better.

Go black as it will give it a tough look.

yeh gunmetal is a great colour..

and i agree a gold would be too show spec, bronze may look funny with a polished lip as its more a matte style.

IMHO...

Bronze - looks good on a maroon R32

Titanium - like on the Volk RE30 titanium will look good

Gold - can look great; or it can look awful depending on what gold colour it is. CE28N or the ADVAN range have got it right. GTC can be ok too. It's subjective.

only issue i have with bronze is will it look good with a polished lip?

what about a two stage powdercoat chrome with a grey or other colour over the top... Hi Octane do some awesome colours now....

Paint the lip AH3 and leave the centres as is.......... You could get Autemo to work their magic with a heap of different combos before you spray any paint, check the link in my signature.
