Hi guys just got my car back from the mechanic and the reason for my vibration at highway speed is due to the front universal joint on the front drive shaft has some play in it. has anyone replaced one of these before, the mechanic said that usually with this type of universal joint the whole shaft need to be replaced any one with experience with this would be helpful, part no. and approx price's would also be useful

thanks guys

yup not a C34

M35s are rebuildable. craig has had one done

what side is it? we might be able to work out an exchange

I think his talking about the frontshaft from the GB to the front diff.....you don't have a spare.

attached to my engine and transmission and transfer case?

hmm nah, i say mine :)

the one in your car atm is mine(when I pay for it).....the one out of you car on the floor at Gladesville is yours! :P....the spare is in my car at the moment.

It's part of the transmission thoughph34r.gif

and yes on the spare...but only when we do the trans changes.

we should really put some of these deals on paper :P

yeah we need to get onto that crap soon, someone needs to do a turbo rebuild. its still in the warehouse right? i might grab it this weekend

yes i would be happy with a spare one that i could rebuild if the price was right otherwise i'll just strip out mine and have the car off the road for the week (not realy a problem for me i drive a work car and only realy drive the stag on weekends)

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
