yeh slicks

auto

2 pistons ****en

NA high comp bottom end

lol if any one was there that day

i was da cr pissing smoke out da exhauts..lol

but still

230- 208 rwks is a big diffrence

my mate ran a 12.1 on slicks and auto but ran a 12.6 on street treed..

is there a huge amount of diffrence btw dyno?

cause a 230rwks VL should be good for high- mid 11s

i should figure the same should be achieved with a skyline

On SLICKS?

Pfft. gimme slicks i'll run a low/flat 12 with what i had, im talking street tyres man.

That's all i'd use. No slicks for me.

When i said i could get .3-.4, that was still on street tyres.

A Manual VL, driven well with 220-230rwkw (dyno depending) will run a high 11. Dunno about a mid.

If you had an Auto... then it's a bit easier

Yeah... that's what i meant.

Hand Written Edition of MSPaint   :D

you know, the one that you write with   :P

I know the graph is original... but 'whos' graph... now that is the question.   LOL!

Work is so much fun today!

This is almost your most entertaining work yet Merli.

Ahhhhhhhhh I get you now :) Geez, I must have woken up on the "slow" side of the bed this morning...

And that's my car... Notice the plates on that dyno sheet?> YSX-116, they're my old RTA-issue plates that came with my car when I bought it :)

Are you confused yet? :P :P

lol nice one.

so when u gonna take me for a ride? :D

hey how come ur car isnt on the list of top 4WD over 2400cc anymore?

last time i checked HPI urs was like 4th or something.

You can have a ride if/when you ever come out to a race meet :P I drive responsibly on the street so the rush isn't as cool.

It is still in the top 10. Fullboost has me as number 6 (as this includes cars on slicks) and HPI has me as number 4 behind Kier, Munro and a Rigoli WRX.

So what was the correction factor on the dyno Merli??

I've made mine make over 700rwkw before.

What correction factor??? Ummmm I dunno.......... All of it? :D:P :P :P

:devfu: :devfu: :devfu: :devfu:

Have I ruined this thread yet? :P

And leewah, HKS have apparently stopped making HKS ETCs for R33 GTR, so I'm gonna need my one back... If you could just drop it in the mail at your convenience.......... Yeeeeeeah.... that'd be greeeeeeeeeat

I'd love you sell your old one back to you mate but unfortuantely, it's now sitting in an impounded RB30 GTR somewhere here in Melbourne. It was lent to a car which was supposed to go to Calder and run down the strip but the owner got arrested and assets confiscated including the GTR and the ETC.

I was compensated by the workshop. They bought me the last ETC and drag adaptor in the country :D

nik..

heres an idea..

make urs fast..

so u dont have to leech off other people cars..

worst leecher eva

leewah if i were u i would tell him to GGF :-P

:-)

dont worry... u will see my next project car in good time. not designed for drag... i like my corners too much... but still bloody quick :D

Hand on a minute...

that web-site... someone gave me a link to that a loooong time ago now.

Must have been you... with the white 33...

Yeah, i a bit confused now... but it aint your dyno graph, i just dont know who's you robbed lol

lol

please. corners

when do u ever take cnrs at 110kph on da road?

dont make me slap u

theres plenty u just never knew cause the most u can go round them in ur boat is 60kmh.

ok threads going wayward.... back on topic

I've heard about the plans, thats one sexy fast Mini Cooper S you're building there nark

Im glad your planning on the brake upgrade once your over 100rwkw... better to be safe :devfu: :D

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
