hi guys im after a muffler that i can put on my car, but im particularly interested in HKS, Apexi, Kakimoto and GReddy mufflers but theres no where i can find them in Australia. I called Performance Wholesale and they said they dont have any because appearently HKS USA is going into liquidation. I've checked nengun and ebay but the shipping costs are way too much for me. There are so many US websites that sell them but none of them ship to Australia  If anyone knows where i can get one from it'll be much appreciated, thanks!

because a skyline and those brands go together nicely

Then why not buy a brand name catback instead of just a muffler? I highly doubt you will be able to save money having a workshop make the pipes for you..

Unless you plan to make one yourself.. In which case I still say get over it and buy a second hand one to save the cash lol.. I know every jap catback I've owned was uber nice.

And they also have a nice inflated price tag :)

Given the price of 2nd hand exhausts in the FS section - you'll never be able to beat it.

You can get a full cat-back for a GTS-T for the price of just a muffler almost these days

I mean buying new/shiny is nice, but it's and exhaust and wont stay that way for long anyhowif you intend on driving it.

brands dont mean a huuuge deal, its the design of the muffler.

i could sell you a performance muffler that will last just as long as one of those branded ones, and make just as much power and sound just a good.

You can get unbranded stuff that is just as good and will last just as long. Just find a reputable exhaust shop that will do it for you.

Thats right!, i work in a mechanical workshop specialising in exhausts, so if anyones after anything in the newcastle area, i can help you out!

And they also have a nice inflated price tag :).

I think you'd struggle to build a 3 or 3.5" stainless steel catback exhaust system with mufflers included for less than what you can buy a Japanese branded system for wouldnt you?

My HKS Hi Power Silent only cost me $900 from Nengun shipped to NZ brand new. I think thats pretty darn reasonable.

EDIT, i just checked my order, and it was actually $835 Shipped. And your Aussie dollar is f**king ridiculous at the moment! Spend spend spend!

    • That's all I needed mate thanks.  For context, we've seen a big number of old accounts being hacked into and then used to post spam. I was wondering if yours had also.  I've never had a good funnel. My driveway can attest to that. 😔
    • I am not a spammer ,, all I can say I have been member of the forum since a while ,,,,and as admin you can verify the time of registration I have 5 funnels none of them fit firmly. Similar thread was posted on the forum below but  it is US based : https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/no-more-spilled-oil-during-an-oil-change-spill-free-oil-funnel.26438/page-2
    • Your post has me puzzled. I have a lot of "spammer" warning signs flashing at me.  Are you honestly, truly, asking for our feedback on oil funnels? For 4 completely different cars?  They're 20 bucks! Just buy one and see!  Maybe I'm missing something?  My finger is hovering above the "flag as spammer" button... Convince me not to click it.
    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
