Great meeting you guys. John thanks for your help with tyre pressures, have my head around it all now and can see the huge difference it makes if you dont get it right.

I ended up with a 1:24.5 in that last session with a bit a traffic so pretty bloody happy with that! Can't wait to see what this thing will do with a bit more experience and some fresh tyres.

Will chuck up a vid.

No times on natsoft?

Nah was untimed today. I am just going off my VBox GPS and getting the poor missus to sit and time me on the iphone as I go past. She was pretty good - GPS had 24.48... and I am gonna take those extra two hundredths hehe.

The VBox software rocks! Even tries to work out what track you have been at and auto sets start/finish and sectors. Heres a vid. Will need to try Johns advice and carry a bit more speed through the back straight kink - man he caught me quickly through there. I think it might have been the same lap cos I looked in the rear view when he was behind me.

Great day, though a little traffic on track. Good to see everyone out there.

I too got my fastest time in the last session. 1.25.6

Fastest car on the day....240z with racespace RB26 on -7 with front and rear diffuses on AO50's. 1.18.x. I was going flat out ~200kmh down the main straight, he rocketed right by me.

Paul I think that video is the first lap you passed me, I was right up behind you the lap after as the red porka bunched us up a turn 4. My tires had gone off and I was going to go into the pit, but saw you behind and thought it better to have a little fun whistling.gif

I turned into dandy road at the end with not grip at all, four wheel sideways action.

Fastest Lap

    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
    • Probably gonna remove manifold and turbo. I’m not sure if I can get M12 x 1.5 air tight. Could use high temp Loctite 246 or something similar, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just best to remove everything again and weld an 1/8NPT on there instead.
