I would rather get there early in the afternoon and have time to have a bit of a look around town, few drinks a nanna nap, or all of the above. Arriving at dinner time is a PITA, especially to catch up with other SAUers there (like Ash) before it gets too late in the day. I also want to head to a car wash to give the beast a wash after the long journey. And I agree with Steve - driving early in the morning is much better for traffic etc also.

Same, would rather leave super early and arrive during the afternoon.

Early start is good

suggestion, meet at tailem bend, much easier (and on the highway) rather than ducking into mt barker (and dealing with other issues at that time of the morning)

Im registered for show and shine, and merch pack. goal now is to get my long range tank installed

There is no "rego" as such on the Friday, just anyone and everyone settling in as people are coming in at all different times etc.

On the Sat morning @ Winton it will all happen & you can collect your packs etc. Much easier with everyone @ the same place, less running around for everyone.

It'll all occur Import Monster tent - but there will be signs on the day so you wont get lost :)

Looking forward to having a few beers with you blokes!

Good to see a few SA member entries already in

So who from SA is coming over to get beat by the Vic guys at the track day??!!? Who is coming to watch, for free, some insane SR's and RB's?!?

Any standard class guys/girls? Grab some AD08's and make the drive to Winton! errrr sorry, grab some KU36's that way we will be faster :)

This S'n'S entry made me laugh..

Might have to get my rust filled Safari up lol!

well, you did say i could enter it Ash :P its kinda like my GTR...........straight 6, turbo, 4wd..........but its not broken

i'd better get the glitter out, cos you cant polish a turd :P

^^^ plus it is the SAU:SA club tow bitch - has gotten MANY of us out of trouble - day and night. Matty is a true champ in that regard :D:thumbsup: - he often brings and shows it in club displays at various car shows - some of the country shows it gets more attention than our magnificent machines :puke: .... and one show in particular a cop walked straight past a host of highly modified Skylines to pull Matty aside and take him to task over the illegality of his various spotlights, aerials, side steps and other toys .... believe it or not!

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
