Hey guys.

I was thinking last week about joining an r32 club in Vic and I've spent a few nights looking around but no luck.

I've always wanted to start a club for r32 owners in Vic, so I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested or has any suggestions and ideas? I've owned a few 32's now and they are just awesome cars and there becoming somewhat of a classic now.

So what are your thoughts?

Yeah for sure. I'd make an r32 car club just for organising r32 meets and track days and things specific to r32's. Don't get me wrong nothing beats sau for everything skyline. I just wanted something specific to r32's

Haha nice! Yeah trackdays would be a bit hard. But I wanted to start one mainly for events like meets and cruises in melb and also tech info and parts for r32's specifically I guess. And the general appreciation of r32 skylines :)

You'll never find more tech info that there is here though, or the sheer range of parts for sale.

Three just isn't the numbers to achieve such a thing.

Cruises and stuff fair enough, but you'll limit your exposure by trying so do it separate.

If you organised it on SAU it would get far more views.

Unfortunately you'll never have meets like a 32 owners club in Japan as there simply ain't the volume of cars here and they don't have a cult style passion and following.

I'm in for 32 cruises. There is a thread here somewhere called r32 roll call (from memory) might be worth asking in there

I tried to round up the remaining r32 owners in Vic. There arent a lot (or they all hiding/broken)

You'd be hard pressed to organise a club. Better off organising a meet or catch-up through SAU.

i reckon once i get my 32 up and running (not long, getting a new paint job :D) ill try organising r32 meets and crusies thru SAU. and if numbers are awesome and if people are willing to organise a club with me after that, then ill go ahead with it. so ill keep you guys posted with that

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
