Bubba that wad my plan to go there I worked out that buying separately is cheaper

Heaps cheaper, I got the tensioner for just under $40 and the idler for just over $40 (trade price).

Gates belt was $2 cheaper for my "other" car than the oem item. Gates are stronger and cost bugger all more. Plus they are blue so it looks cool. Blue stuff makes your car go faster.

I got a Dayco timing belt kit with the idlers as well, just another option

but agree with above, Gates should be fine, they can be a bit noisey if tightened a bit much. But if you dont want to spend that much then the Dayco is cheaper

I've had/went through (2) dayco belts on mine before, and they kept slipping/tearing apart with higher RPM

Put a OEM on there and it was never a problem again...

OEM belts on my 25, and now on both 26's all been over 300-380rwkw/8500rpm no drama.

i only went for gates as that was only available at the time of doing the engine build.

ideally i would've opted for OEM.
