lilcrash
It's ok I'm taking it to ben phillips now, he sounds like he has a bit more knowledge and experience with tuning cars. wolverine
You damage the nuts on the driveshaft and the conclusion is that another tuner has more knowledge and experience than EFI. lilcrash
That isn't the sole reason. Ps. I only damaged one and gave up trying, they killed one then decided oh we don't have the tools to do this. Tangles
no Multi-grip? sounds like a poor excuse for a job they obviously didnt want to be bothered with. Best of luck with the tune. Bit of a warning tho, youve been driving without a tune since the last round of mods. Rb25's are notorious for damaging ringlands. your oil useage could refelct the start of some piston damage. I found out the hard way (back on April 11th) and am still without any mode of transport .... lilcrash
yeah it sounded like they didnt want to do it, the moment they started working on it and decided they were not gonna tune it everyone went home as my car was the only work for the day. i'm actually concerned that something happened down there and thats why they didnt touch it because since i've picked it up it hasn't been running too well, i'm hoping its just the heat but i've had dodgy workshops do stupid things before. i think i read rb enignes dont like detonation, im guessing this is what your talking about. i was hoping to get it all tuned by now but it appears that everyone is either too busy or just doesn't want to touch nistune anymore. oh well i will pull the shaft out tomorrow and im sure that hi power racing and ben phillips would love to make some money doing the final tweaks on my ecu.
