Hi all,

I recently put a stagea rb25det neo into my r32 gtr, The reason I did that is because, I used the rb26dett for another project, and the neo engine has alot of potential aas it is pretty nice from stock with light modifications like custom made forward facing plenum, top mount manifold, bigger turbo and computer upgrade, its an easy 350-400kW atw. Plus it has NVCT and the head is really strong and has excellent resonse.

But I got problems with the attessa ets, I get error code 19 and 21. The pump doesn't start up when I turn ignition on, I followed the service manual and found a wire having a resistance of 500 ohms instead of 0.5 ohms, somewhere the harness damaged and needs replacing.

BUt the other thing is error code 21 which has something to do with the throttle and the voltage that the ETS unit receives from the R32 ECCS unit, but this is a r34 engine and it doesnt use the ECCS unit, it uses some other different thing. THis problem only came after the engine conversion. Is there anyone who can help me with this? workshop manual says the voltage between the ECCS unit terminals when ignition is on when the throtle is not pressed should be 0.4V.....

The ECCS unit referred to in the GTR manual is the engine ECU. The ECU for the Neo is kinda the same thing, except that it's different enough that it's not the same thing. The code that you're getting is about the TPS I think, and this is going to be your big hassle. What you may need to do is look into whether it is possible to keep an RB26 TPS on the throttle body (along with the Neo one) and see if you can't feed that direct to the Attessa ECU somehow. Could be a right pain in the arse though.

Agreed....I also think it is just looking for a TPS input.

My guess is it is likely the rb25 and rb26 TPS send an equivalent range around 0.5-4.5v so just try hooking it up directly.
