Roy - I don't think we would be able to do refunds, as we are needing the money to pay for the track. :( If you dont come along the track is the same cost and I certainly can't afford to pay out of my own pocket.. I have a skyline habit to nurture. :(

NOW seriously.. If you peeps want to come then send me a deposit asap. Not only are spots filling up but we want to get final numbers sorted well before the day.

Dan.. its not a drifto day sorry bud.. Its proper track roundy roundy. We will have a drift session for a hour, but thats it. :)

That makes sense... but how about if i make it thru Sunday in one peice i rock up to the Monday, then my participating makes it a little bit cheaper for those attending...so i pay on the day, dont know how many times you have been to Wakefield, but with 25 cars, its a biut of a ghost town when you consider most ppl like to rest their cars at least 45 mins... ppl can find themselves driving around with only 4 or 5 other cars on the track.... which is fun, but its better if you have someone you are trying to catch or keep up with.

Carlo can you maybe update the first post with deposited attendee's ? :D

That's what the calendar function is for!!! :)

yeh but Andrew, not everyone who is coming is from SAU only (assuming Ben wants a full list, if he only wants a list of SAU people attending, then I'll sit down....) :D

Thanks Tosh... I'm just trying to encourage people to use the Calendar function.

hey calendar function rocks!

Can you remove your name once you add it?

Yes it does, and yes you can :D:)

The link you clicked on to add your name changes to a link to remove your name in case you have to pull out!

Answer time

1. why does my neighbour hate my car - because he is a grumpy old **** smoker.

2. ben.. the only people from SAU who are attending are Carlo, Moanie, Darren, Geoff & Tosh thus far. No deposits from other people yet. All up we have quite a mix of cars from Turbo Mighty boys to a Ferrrari. John penlington is also going to be hanging around for our trackday so cars will be a plenty.

3. Less talk more deposit.

But its a Zed, be lucky to make it thru his own trackday

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
    • Lock me in mate, although I'm not sure if I'll be heading up from Goulburn or down from Sydney, either way, return will be back to Goulburn
