R34 Clutch Bite Point

Hey guys,

Quicky query.. trying to figure out how worn my clutch is

basically.. standard r34 gtt manual gearbox.. the clutch is not fully engaged until ~1cm off the top of the pedal, If im sitting on a flat surface - If i let it out about 1/3rd the way along the travel the car will start to roll in the gear

If i press the clutch pedal ~1cm when rolling along in a gear at ~2000rpm the revs drop back to idle. It does not slip with any sort of throttle in any gear, even going up a hill

But is it safe to assume with the 'bite' at the top of the pedal, that is almost worn out? as far as i can tell it's the original clutch with 105,000kms on it

Sounds like the clutch is still in good condition. The bite point should be an inch or so from the top of pedal travel. Yours is fine by the sounds of it though

mines brand new and sounds similar to yours, i thought it should come out close to the floor but it doesnt

You can always adjust the pushrod on the master thats connected to the pedal to change the pedal engage postion.
