Hi Benm.

Sorry to be a stickler, but.....

I see some of the reaction times are down to as low as 0.090.

At Calder Park this would be shown at 0.490 as the reaction time includes the 0.400 second from yellow to green.

Anything below 0.400 at Calder is a red light......

Showing my RT as a function of this would be 0.298 (as the time on the slip is 0.698)

Correct me if I'm wrong though....

Yes I agree hence the "a few more changes in the near future" comment above. Had some server issues yesterday (nothing major except that it caused me to update things in the wrong area and I nearly lost everything) so I added a few more cars and let it be for another day until all the changes are complete at the server (where I work) and then I plan on fixing that "R/Time" issue.

So far its: Calder and Willowbank that work with the silly 0.4 R/Time thing, correct me if i'm wrong?

13.493 @ 102.42 mph

My car has this time in it! My TS is up to a consistant 102mph but I cant get the 60' less than 2.2 :goddam:

What rpm do you launch at?

Those Wanli's mustnt be too bad to achieve a 1.9 60'... either that or you're just good :)

RiggaP

I dont know whether I'd be able to reproduce those times with a fresh clutch. My clutch now doesn't slip as such, its just sloppy. Maybe that little bit of slip helps.

But even saying that, I did launch at 3, 4, and 5k rpm and no wheelspin at all.

I can't really explain that as I thought I would be scrabbling for traction like I am on the road.

Well, on sescond thoughts, maybe I'm just good!

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
