W0rp3D
The dump pipe i have does not have a spot for an O2 sensor, i had a cat put in recently that has a bung for an O2 sensor but it was installed so it is at the rear of the cat, i know the sensor is nomally just behind the turbo will it still work fine behind the cat? TiTAN
narrow band sensors are best kept close to the engine as the further from the engine the sensor is the more time it takes for the sensor to pickup the changes the ecu is making and your air fuel ratios will swing further (rich - lean - rich - lean etc) which leads to decreased fuel economy Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/382526-o2-sensore-position/#findComment-6102021 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
The one on the cat is probably for the temperature sensor, not an oxy sensor. Just weld a bung onto the dump near the "stock" location.
