Are Falken FK451 still available?

HI All,

I recently had a set of Falken FK451 GRB tyres put on the rear (255x40x17).

Really good tyre... Quiet, predictable when on the limits.

Anyway, I want some for the front now and I was told by the place I bought them from that Falken stoped making them...

Can anyone confirm this?

I am after a set of 235x45x17 for the front.

Hey Robbo, I'm nit sure if they've stopped making them, last time I wanted a set (about 3 months ago) they hed to be ordered in from the falken distributor.

Maybe give falken hq a call, it would be a shame if they stopped making them, I reckon they are a great tyre at the price

I have been getting prices on lots of different tyres lately and a place i was at said he could get me these for $269 each in 235x45x17 so as far as i know they are still around.

Think the place said they stoped making them cause they wanted to sell me something else... I will call head office tomorrow.

Ps. Strange, the price you quoted above ($270 for 235x45x17) is what I a paid for the larger 255x40x17 tyres. Does this mean they are the same price regardless of size?

Damn... I was getting quotes of $400 a tyre for these in 255/40/17's... where abouts are you guys getting yours from?

They are still available.

Just got a quote for 235x45x17: $230 each

Business in Chatwood.

Yeah, they are still around, I'm getting a set of 235/35/18 from tempe for $300 ea

I got a set of GRBs from Tempe Tyres, they were the 265x40x17's.

Usuall $299 each, they gave em to me for $200.

I'd be calling them for sure!
