Dunno about the ScibyLine at the show... it needs a spoiler, it's too bloody stock, and would only be a space filler.

And besides, the effort of finding a driver that my insurance will cover, etc, is more pain than it's worth.

So boost, exhaust and filter are done now :D

And from that message that you sent me this morning i get the impression that its going off like a burning spastic! :Bang:

If willo comes up for the show to, there will be a fairly phat selection of GTR's there of ervery model too.

So just going to leave it like that for a little while, how long have you had it now, a booyah mods already, are you sure your not a curran, oh wait sorry we have our cars for about a day and then de-register and leave them sit in our back yards, but its all good.

Hey man i hear of this good company called garage spank, check them out at www.garagespank.tk and there is this really nice fella, his name is like J or Q or something like that, and i hear that he is doing stuff at very comptetive prices, should check them out,

I heard he's got a hot ass...

No they hot looking guys run the rockhampton sector of G-Spank, but that brissy guy, he's a bit of alright for his age you know, so when is the "R" getting a 2WD/4WD switch and we are going to see some drifting of the R.

*while standing on GTR bonnent with wind in his face*

Im the king of the world!!!!

Well, will probably get that stealth wing before the show... although I'm trying to get in touch with a guy in adelaide who makes one with a brake light moulded in...

Will be good to see my old zorst-of-mystery on Kate's car. I haven't seen it up close with it on, only from a distance.

Damnit, I'll have to clean up, wax and polish the ScibyLine now... and take the wheels off and give them a good cleaning too. *suspects a trip to AutoBarn/Supercheap is in order*

Very Good old chap....

we'll see you there...

actually give us a call if you need someone to come and pick you and your car up... suprisingly there seems to be a fair bit of that going on between people with no liscences and people at work... I never knew so many of our your rice-brigade had to work tirlessly on a saturday...

oh well sucked in!!!

Yeah, will need someone, someone over 25, for insurance. I believe Pete's coming up, so I'll just badger him.

Pondering if I can afford to do the wing though... I"m tempted to go '**** it', and just leave the clear tape over the boot holes. Ugly, but I'm broke.

Hey scibs, if you need a hand i'll be more than happy to help.

yeah dev found a computer.

Okydoky, dude, will definitely keep it in mind... the big problem I have now is that the 15th of May is right between two big weeks of uni assessment.

*If* I go, I'll be sitting behind the car with text books.

WOW dev found computer, computer good!

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
