Have left messages for some people without reply???

Hi Leon I tried to pm ya but your box must be full. Are there any of these u it's left? Cheers Ben

Not full, was 'disabled' for some reason - thanks for the heads-up.

I'd be happy to get another batch of cruise controls in for people as there is more than enough interest, but everyone I contact in China are morons & can't follow simple instructions.

If anyone knows someone in China that can be trusted to do the transaction (place order, receive money from me, take delivery of cruise controls at China address then ship to me), I will be happy to pay spotters fee for the introduction.

It a massive shame my sister is now back in Aus after several years in Shanghai & Hong Kong...

I could possibly see if something can be done.

Hi Everyone

Everyone who expressed interest in a cruise control kit (that I have a record of) has a message in their inbox.

If you want one, they will be $600-$615 delivered (waiting confirmation on price) for the cruise unit, pedal harness for our cars (M35 & V35), factory steering wheel switches (including volume controls, ie both sides of the wheel) & preprogrammed for PnP DIY install. No stalk will be sent out with the kit.

Cheers, Leon.

Good work getting these kits back together Leon! Did you use my Contact or did you find another way?

Steering wheel switch panels have been ordered & paid. Nissan say 2 - 4 weeks for delivery out of Japan. Hoping closer to 2 weeks so you can all have yours before Christmas.

My cruise control unit has been sent for the settings to be downloaded & uploaded into the new ones. I'll have them well before Nissan calls.

The parts for the harness that connects the cruise module to the switches have also arrived & I'll be making them up in readiness.

This is the list I have. I'll PM everyone soon(ish) with payment details, though there's no great rush.

I hope I haven't missed anyone.

Cheers, Leon.

There are 2 or 3 kits left due to some guys not paying or responding to messages.

If anyone is looking for a PnP cruise control kit send me a PM.

Merry Christmas everybody.

Hey leon.

my cruise control doesn't work any more thoughts????

Hi Rudi

sorry I missed this. I'll send you a PM.

I have one kit left that was destined for a guy who had the switches already. He's had enough time & obviously changed his mind (the problem with all 'group buys') so it's available.

I'll message the 2 guys above.

All gone, finally.

No one bother me about these for a while, PLEASE.

(But you can still message me for install questions).

    • Driveline vibration is resolved. I ended up loosening all my engine mount and trans mount bolts, giving it a good shake then retightening everything and it's gone... Let's just say I was surprised that fixed it.  I've been happily driving it around again but unfortunately put zero time into my direct port/constant pressure WMI setup. I'm on vacation next week, so I'll try and finalize it then.  On a different note, I spent all week fuel/ignition mapping 2x 216L V16 engines. Turbo's were burning glycol and we swapped them out for larger units. We also had planned emissions testing on site, so I figured I'd be there the same week to use their instrumentation and massage any emissions issues out if needed. This was a first for me. Fuel management is similar in certain ways to automotive (i.e air density as load variable) but very different in others. It's all PLC based and AFR's are controlled by air and not fuel. They use a control valve between the turbo and air manifold to control pressure which in turn controls AFR's. Due to this, target AFR tables supplied by the OEM are in pressures and not mass which really through me off. They use air pressure vs fuel pressure tables. I also relied on an O2 concentration sensor the emissions team had in the exhaust. Ignition timing was also all over the place and we were losing a fair bit of power. They're now happily sitting at 16-40BTDC depending on load. We were making about 1600kw at 900rpm at 90% load. Engines were running a lot smoother as well.
    • heh, aint no R32 ever meeting modern targa cage rules unless the driver is veeeery short OP, good luck with the sale, since its already in the land of freedom I'm sure you will find a good buyer.
    • meh, it was a good video, clear about the issue and how he dealt with it. A bit heavy on the RTV and very brave to put an RB in anything without rebuilding it first, but otherwise I thought it was good Dose, I'm not sure that having the pickup forward is a big issue; yes of course the oil could shift under brakes but the sump should never be empty enough for that to be a problem (unless you also have a higher volume oil pump, and that oil can't return from the head to the sump quickly enough)
