Thats a cool website.

From the profile picture if you run the 2011 Mac v 2012 Mac over the nose you see a considerable change.

However if you run the 2012 Mac over the 2011 RBR you will see an eerie similarity!

How are they similar?

The nose is beginning to look similar, ill grant you that. But the rest of the car looks much like an evolution from last year. Just a much tighter bum now that the exhaust has been optimised (no octopus), and the old U-pods are gone in favour of mp4-25 style ones

If anything, the just combined the last two years cars into one!

Looks like Homo has been called a dog by Sutil overnight for not appearing for his defence, any well wishes etc. What a farking girl, Sutil was supposed to be his friend in the F1 world!

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton obeyed team orders and swerved around the wreckage of a once firm Formula One friendship after being accused of cowardice by

former grand prix rival Adrian Sutil.McLaren effectively put a gag on the 2008 world champion after newspapers in Germany and Britain reported Sutil had branded Hamilton

a "coward" for failing to back him in a trial that ended on Tuesday.

The German was given a suspended 18-month sentence and fined €200,000 ($261,800) for a brawl in a Shanghai nightclub last April. Hamilton, who had won the Chinese Grand Prix, also attended the nightclub.

A Munich court found the former Force India driver guilty of injuring Eric Lux, chief executive of Renault F1 team owners Genii Capital, with a champagne glass in an altercation between the two.

Sutil had told the court that he had repeatedly apologised to Lux and denied it was his intention to hurt him but rather to throw a drink in his face.

The court had also wanted to hear from Hamilton but the McLaren driver was excused due to team commitments ahead of Wednesday's launch of their new car at the Woking factory in southern England.

"Lewis is a coward. I do not want to be friends with someone like that," Sutil, who had previously counted on Hamilton as one of his closest friends in the paddock after being team mates in the junior

Formula Three Euroseries, told Bild newspaper.

"For me he is not a man. Even his father sent me a text message to wish me good luck in the trial. He [Lewis] changed his cellphone number. I could not even reach him anymore."

Asked about the comments, Hamilton was prevented from replying by a team spokesman who intervened.

"We've been told that Lewis shouldn't really go there [talk about the case] because it might go under appeal. So can we move on to the next question," he said.

"I'll listen to him," smiled Hamilton.

Sutil, 29, has said he is considering some time out of the sport, something he may have little choice about with only clear vacancy remaining at struggling HRT.

The Renault team has since been renamed Lotus while Force India have already announced Germany's Nico Hulkenberg as team mate to Britain's Paul di Resta, who is managed by Hamilton's father Anthony.

Adrian Sutil hopes to lapse to F1 after being found guilty of disgusting corporeal harm

He accomplished ninth in a drivers’ championship in 2011, scoring 42 points

(CNN) — German motorist Adrian Sutil is assured of returning to Formula One notwithstanding reception an 18-month dangling prison judgment for disgusting corporeal mistreat upon Tuesday.

The former Force India motorist was additionally fined €200,000 ($262,000) for injuring Eric Lux, arch senior manager of a Lotus team’s owners Genii Capital, with a champagne potion in a Shanghai nightclub after final April’s Chinese Grand Prix.

Sutil mislaid his chair with Britain-based Force India for 2012 as well as was transposed by his fellow citizen Nico Hulkenberg — who final raced for Williams in 2010.

The 29-year-old’s representative is anticipating to find Sutil a upon all sides inside of F1 prior to a latest deteriorate starts in Australia upon Mar 18, though his options have been singular with Spanish marque HRT a usually group upon a grid with a chair nonetheless to be filled.

Can Senna revive intrigue to Formula One?

His bent didn’t humour from a verdict, you have been right away exploring a possibilities that exist in Formula One

Manfred Zimmerman

“He’s still a race-car driver,” Manfred Zimmermann told CNN. “His bent didn’t humour from a verdict. We have been right away exploring a possibilities that exist in Formula One.

“We will do a many appropriate to find a place there again as well as usually time will discuss it if we’re successful. The many critical thing to Adrian is that Lux supposed his apology.

“They shook hands as well as right away they can pierce on. A bucket has been taken off Adrian’s shoulders. Otherwise, we’re presumption Adrian has a destiny in Formula One as well as will find his place again shortly enough.”

Zimmerman pronounced Sutil has no strait skeleton outward of a chosen motorsport should he not have a possibility to supplement to his 90 competition starts.

“We’ll usually consider about that if all else falls through,” Zimmerman said.”But we’re presumption that all will work out.”

Sutil accomplished ninth in a drivers’ standings final deteriorate with 42 points. His top finish was sixth, that he completed during his home competition in Germany as well as during a season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

stfu Sutil; glassing people is a dog act

not surprised Hamo doesn't wanna be associated with such asswipes

Are you kidding? General powder room gossip has had the event as an accident, not a deliberate glassing. Meant to throw a drink over a tosspot whose behaviour was out of line and in the cufunkle copped a glass in the face. No charges were made in China, where the accident occured. It seems a German can be charged with a crime that took place abroad, against a non German in Germany.

I am a long way from letting Dog Hamilton off the hook for this one. We will never know, but it appears as though Hamilton abandoned a mate rather then supporting him to protect his own neck from any publicity of involvement. Hamo has hung out with Sutil post the event, and the two have been fine so a bit late/convenient to drop his mate in the shit a few days before the trial saying busy with media committments.

I am with Sutil on this one. I would be curious to read the actual verdict. What was the charge? A suspended sentence sounds like a slap on the wrist, and the 200k to charity sounds like a good will gesture.

I have read he was charged with aggravated assault, other sources say grievous bodily harm or both. None of those require intent. They are both misdemeanor and not felonies because the intent to commit the crime is lacking, but rather then accidental, the behavior is wreckless hence the more serious charge over assault. Well at least thats what I can remember from High Scool Legal Studies (20 years ago :( ) so if thats wrong would love to know the facts!

Sloppy journalism in this day and age means you don't even get the facts behind the story. I am not 100% sure why the case was even heard in Munich and no charges were laid in China. Did the German Police file charges or is Lux able to file a charge in a German court and it is obliged to be heard if agaisnt a German citizen ? It all smells as though a man with means filing a private law suit over bruised ego...and a few unfortunate scars.

The whole Lux attacked by Sutil is BS IMO. Story goes a friend of Lux spilled a drink on Sutil. Lux gets power happy and throws his weight around asking Sutil to leave. Sutil responds by returning the favour and attempting to spill the contents of his glass over Lux...and woops. Things go pear shaped. I can almost guess the friend of Lux was a good sort, who perhaps threw a drink at Sutil? Then Lux , the man in shining armour comes in "you better leave" all with a few people pushing out their chests being hard men in 10k suits! >_< Sutil goes to hurl a drink at him...and yeh...pear shaped.

The fact that Lux is running around saying a phone call isnt enough of an apology, but instead wants a face to face apology tells me this it is more about bruised ego rather then a genuine victim of assault. Otherwise he would want nothing of an apology and would be talking convictions.

Hamo is a dog as 10 days before the trial he was attending to give evidence on behalf of Sutil. Then 5 days before pulls the pin because of media commitments. Fark me I would know what is more important!

Anyway, moving on...

Mates? Well he wont have many distractions for the coming season. Nobody on the grid likes him. His Mrs dumped him. He walked away from this Dad. Dennis isnt around as much to protect/support him. Whitmarsh seems more open to the two drivers and has never used words like "petulant" to describe Button...but has used such language for Hamilton.

His support network on race weekends seems non-existant. Hoping his 2012 season is a cluster fark and his candle blows out and McLaren dont meet his pay demands at end of year. He will be remembered as a great talent, who was lucky to win a WDC whose most mature performance as an F1 driver was his first season. After that hsi head seems to spend half the time off in the clouds, and the other half up his ass. :domokun:

    • Who did you have do the installation? I actually know someone who is VERY familiar with the AVS gear. The main point of contact though would be your installer.   Where are you based in NZ?
    • Look, realistically, those are some fairly chunky connectors and wires so it is a reasonably fair bet that that loom was involved in the redirection of the fuel pump and/or ECU/ignition power for the immobiliser. It's also fair to be that the new immobiliser is essentially the same thing as the old one, and so it probably needs the same stuff done to make it do what it has to do. Given that you are talking about a car that no-one else here is familiar with (I mean your exact car) and an alarm that I've never heard of before and so probably not many others are familiar with, and that some wire monkey has been messing with it out of our sight, it seems reasonable that the wire monkey should be fixing this.
    • Wheel alignment immediately. Not "when I get around to it". And further to what Duncan said - you cannot just put camber arms on and shorten them. You will introduce bump steer far in excess of what the car had with stock arms. You need adjustable tension arms and they need to be shortened also. The simplest approach is to shorten them the same % as the stock ones. This will not be correct or optimal, but it will be better than any other guess. The correct way to set the lengths of both arms is to use a properly built/set up bump steer gauge and trial and error the adjustments until you hit the camber you need and want and have minimum bump steer in the range of motion that the wheel is expected to travel. And what Duncan said about toe is also very true. And you cannot change the camber arm without also affecting toe. So when you have adjustable arms on the back of a Skyline, the car either needs to go to a talented wheel aligner (not your local tyre shop dropout), or you need to be able to do this stuff yourself at home. Guess which approach I have taken? I have built my own gear for camber, toe and bump steer measurement and I do all this on the flattest bit of concrete I have, with some shims under the tyres on one side to level the car.
    • Thought I would get some advice from others on this situation.    Relevant info: R33 GTS25t Link G4x ECU Walbro 255LPH w/ OEM FP Relay (No relay mod) Scenario: I accidentally messed up my old AVS S5 (rev.1) at the start of the year and the cars been immobilised. Also the siren BBU has completely failed; so I decided to upgrade it.  I got a newer AVS S5 (rev.2?) installed on Friday. The guy removed the old one and its immobilisers. Tried to start it; the car cranks but doesnt start.  The new one was installed and all the alarm functions seem to be working as they should; still wouldn't start Went to bed; got up on Friday morning and decided to have a look into the no start problem. Found the car completely dead.  Charged the battery; plugged it back in and found the brake lights were stuck on.  Unplugging the brake pedal switch the lights turn off. Plug it back in and theyre stuck on again. I tested the switch (continuity test and resistance); all looks good (0-1kohm).  On talking to AVS; found its because of the rubber stopper on the brake pedal; sure enough the middle of it is missing so have ordered a new one. One of those wear items; which was confusing what was going on However when I try unplugging the STOP Light fuses (under the dash and under the hood) the brake light still stays on. Should those fuses not cut the brake light circuit?  I then checked the ECU; FP Speed Error.  Testing the pump again; I can hear the relay clicking every time I switch it to ON. I unplugged the pump and put the multimeter across the plug. No continuity; im seeing 0.6V (ECU signal?) and when it switches the relay I think its like 20mA or 200mA). Not seeing 12.4V / 7-9A. As far as I know; the Fuel Pump was wired through one of the immobiliser relays on the old alarm.  He pulled some thick gauged harness out with the old alarm wiring; which looks to me like it was to bridge connections into the immobilisers? Before it got immobilised it was running just fine.  Im at a loss to why the FP is getting no voltage; I thought maybe the FP was faulty (even though I havent even done 50km on the new pump) but no voltage at the harness plug.  Questions: Could it be he didnt reconnect the fuel pump when testing it after the old alarm removal (before installing the new alarm)?  Is this a case of bridging to the brake lights instead of the fuel pump circuit? It's a bit beyond me as I dont do a lot with electrical; so have tried my best to diagnose what I think seems to make sense.  Seeking advice if theres for sure an issue with the alarm install to get him back here; or if I do infact, need an auto electrician to diagnose it.
    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
