Damn team played him twice. No pit and wrecked his flow on the radio.

Aren't those team-radio feeds like 1-2 laps behind the present though?

Or have they got them more up to date now?

So whilst it looked like he basically went off a few corners later, it actually wasn't the case.

Which would also mean he was ignoring those orders are until then he was still gaining!

Why is it that Marks car is the slowest in a straight line out of the front runners.Even with th DRS he still couldnt pass and had to do it on a different part of the circuit whereas finger boys just flew past???

Sauber weren't telling him not to pass, they were just telling him to do it without making contact and losing 18 points.

Probably shouldn't have done it, but I doubt it changed the way he was driving anyway.

And yeah they're delayed so it wasn't just before he made the error. It was a tiny error but costly in the conditions...

Great to see a mixed podium and a good win for Alonso. What's Hamo's go anyway he should stop saying all the "right" things and just speak his mind

his expressions and body language say it pretty well anyway. Good to see a result for Perez, Kimi and Senna as well.

Also when was the last time there was no Red Bull on the podium?

Few pages for just this one race.

At least 5 pages per race including practice/quali/general shit. 20 races.

200 pages by the end of season?

But yes, very good to see a mix on the podium and midfield.

Makes the castrol prediction very difficult.

I tried using previous race results for this one along with last years results(sort of). Didn't really help. Maybe cause of the rain, but we will see in China.

Strange that of the top three teams, none showed any real pace today, at all. Possibly a set up explanation

Perez with almost the drive of the day today. His team left him out far too long, and his off was a suspiciously well timed

Disappointed we didnt get more of a fight at the front for podium spots. Was more or less settled at the restart

GREAT midpack action, Senna with the mad skills

Sauber weren't telling him not to pass, they were just telling him to do it without making contact and losing 18 points.

Probably shouldn't have done it, but I doubt it changed the way he was driving anyway.

Not sure if the radio is delayed now, the radio channels are open this season for all to hear.

SV post race

bit of a harsh penalty i think but HRT should take him out every race, worth a 20sec penalty for us to loose the tool

    • Hi guys, long time no post as per usual! It's been a busy year so far, the biggest thing being a new job.  After 28 years in the automotive industry I decided it was time for a change.  I was losing faith in the industry and where it's heading.  Now in a completely different industry (electrical) working for a company that manufacture water pump contollers.  Not as sexy as cars but it's an interesting,  challenging industry. I now don't work Saturdays which is a bonus!  It's still 50-55 hours a week but having Saturdays ack after 28 years of working them is awesome!   No news on the GT-R but i did decide to add some more JDM goodness into my life....           1990 300 ZX.  She's not perfect but for a 35 year old car she ain't bad!  Just going to tidy it up a bit and enjoy it.  It's currently auto but will start stockpiling everything for a manual swap. It WILL distract me even further from the GT-R but im hoping not for too long! It somewhat proves a 6'8" freak can fit in a 300 ZX.  Sort of...  I drove it home from the previous owners house in Melbourne via Black Spur and Merton Gap (2 awesome bits of Victorian twisty road) and it was amazing!  Handles so well!!!   I don't think it would be worthy of a full build page but I'll post up some of the upgrades here if anyone is interested?  Cheers guys!
    • End game is to: - Remove all the slop from old worn parts - Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).   Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs! Next steps: - Buy bushings - Replace bushings/bearings on hub - Reinstall
