Yeah I had a great time!  The sudden slow downs to 20kmh on the highway were a bit hair rasing at times tho, cars going everywhere!  But yeah over all really good.  Organisation was fine, I didnt even read the bit of paper I it was easy, just follow the leader! :P

And I was good, I parked right up the end of the line, I wasnt inbetween any skylines for anyone who was complaining :)

Hey dangerous_dave yeah that was me u almost had in your boot lol :chairshot

I got a flat spoted front right

gee that would be funny what would u call it a skyfro :blast:

The reason people were doing like 20k's on the highway is this thing called 'Chain Reaction', im sure you learnt about it in year 8 at highschool.

Basically, when erin is up the front doing 90 or so (for a few k's) just so everyone can regroup.. it makes this thing called a chain reaction, causing the cars behind her to break and slow a bit.. and considering we had such a long line, the people at the end of it will have felt the end of the reaction which by the time it hit them, they would have slowed to your apparent 20k's..

ontop of this, we all were traveling in the one left hand lane (which was the right thing to do), and as this lane is used to take exits, people some times had to break to let people in that would like to use the exits.. and i witnessed some of these cars slowing to use the exit, and hesitating which would have sent another 'chain reaction' to the one already sent.

So in theory, the reason why the people at the tail end where doing this 20ks would be causing your dealing wiht at least chain reactions in one.

its simple logic, its commonsense .. wanna go faster, indicate right anf move up the back like me and other members did.

:P ... thats your education for today :)

I think we had more of a chance of getting 'slow' tickets for going too slow than getting them for speeding on the way to bwcp. I dont think i even got to 100km/h the whole time.

Yeh the sudden braking woke me up nice and good

I hanged around the coast untill about 2am with a few others and ended up getting home about 4am after some city cruising with 2quick

Good to drive my car in again, thats the first time ive driven it properly since i got it back. It can only get faster now, and handle better as of next week :P

I see some of you's on the weekly cruises from now on....

Once again, Thanks Erin and Adrian!!

Argh I'm sooo pissed off I couldn't make it... a mate ended up getting taken to hospital in an ambo after getting into a fight at my brother's house. Sort of put my plans on hold... :P

Anyway looks like it was an awesome cruise, even better to hear that, on the whole, everyone was pretty well behaved too.

Good work Erin/Adrian!

Hey much thanks to erin and adrian for the cruise good to meet fellow line owners around and espically on the nth side.... many thanks to Sheree (61RLY) for takin charge of the pack that got lost hehehe and how funny was the BWCP exit disaster half of us diddnt have a clue where to go... cant wait for the next one

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
