Guess what time it is - that's right DECA TIME!!!

It's on again and I have booked us the hotel in Shepp for the upcoming DECA.

When: Fri 24 & Sat 25 February

Where: Tirana Motor Inn

Address: 33 -37 Wyndham St, Shepparton

Cost: $50 per person per night (if sharing)

$85 per night to have a single person in a room by themselves

If you would like a room, please let me know as soon as possible, they will want to release to the public whatever rooms we are not using in a few weeks.

I need to know:

* nights staying

* how many people

* what bed configurations you need (ie twin, double etc)

If you are coming by yourself, that's fine, just let me know and I will team you up with somebody else to share a room with.

Let me know here, by email, by PM or by phone.

The sooner you tell me, the easier you make it for me.

*** NOTE - if the hotel books out, preference will be given to those staying both nights

- if you ask for a room and don't turn up without letting me know, you get added to my black list (you ppl are starting to ruin it for everyone)

Entries coming soon!!!

DECA is 100% open to anyone, and everyone.

More the merrier. It's a great bunch and always a good 50-60 people up for the weekend of fun :)

I'll get onto Team FA, i think a few wanted to come up for a Fri.

Cheers, been up a few times but just taken photos and enjoyed the spectating. Doing 6 broken manifold studs tomorrow on the 33, then car goes to panel shop. If car is not out of panel shop by DECA can I just bring my 180 or should I PM whom ever is in charge of the event to let them know?

Make sure you do them all - if you only fix the broken 6, 3 months later another will break... Hence do them all @ once, saves doing it again for another 10 years.

When entry forms come up you can just put down whatever car, if it changes on the day/last min that's not a major issue either. Happens sometimes.

Yea doing all 12. Had this issue on old motor, fit new gasket and new studs after snapping 5 then blew motor 1,000km later.

Fit motor from wrecked car(knowing I should of done the gasket and studs) and it has bitten me in the arse 3,000km later. :domokun: Hoping I havn't got an ongoing issue with it causing them to snap. Exhaust hangers are all ok (not using cat one though)

BEC can u put me + partner down for a room for Friday night. Twin cause partner will most likely not be my partner :whistling:

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
