Hi guys,Up for sale is my 88' C33 RB20DET Club S Laurel. Car ran out of rego in December 2010 but for a bit extra $ I can get it RWC and Registed again. I got the car back at the start of 2008. Reason for sale is I don't have the time or money to get it back on the road and I would really like to get some more power out of my S13. I love this car but it's only going to waste sitting in my carport.

9k for unregd Laurel with a stuffed gbox and leaking fluids?

might want to reconsider your price mate, would have some one interested for around the 4k mark

Im in no rush kris. The price can be negosiated with the right person. Thing needs minimal work to get her ruling the roads again!

im keen on laurel's and thinking of getting one, but thats a lot of dollars for a car that needs a new gearbox and turbo water line.... plus the broken front lip and probably a number of other things for an rwc.

I'd have to agree with kris and say that 4k would be the average for car with said problems.

mikey, love the car. genuine question, how much do you think it would cost to get this thing roadworthy so it can actually be driven? im basically after a ball park figure on how much, including purchase price, would need to be spent to have a driveable, registered vehicle, and then compare it to what else could be purchased with the same money. cheers adam

100,000klm more and a drift pig , as much as id love to see the price go down for my own benefit . think of how many drift spec laurel there are in aus , now how many un molested ones are there? That's why this car is worth a bit more than most .

Good luck with the sale mate, If i had the coin it would be sitting in my garage, Ive only ever owned C33s, actually Ive owned 3.

I agree with toffy, Finding these with the factory turbo set up with the sunroof option that is unmolested and not pigged out is almost impossible.

Also love that it still HAS the OEM Users manual for nostalgia.

HOPE this thing goes to a good home.

Once again good luck Mikey.

EDIT: Just read that you want more power out of the S13.....get rid of the S13 and keep the Laurel hahah, too many S13s on the road.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
