Hi all,

I have had some extremely bad luck and am now looking at my options and would like expressions of interest / offers.

My R32 GTR which has had thousands of dollars spent on it has developed a crack in the engine block :(

The car was running perfect up until recently where I had the head pulled off to check for a suspected head gasket issue to find that the engine block has a split in it :( The motor was pulled apart by Racepace.

There a four options I'm looking at:

1 - Sell the car as is. The engine has been removed and stripped down. I have sourced a new engine block to do a full swap over of all engine parts. I have been quoted $4300 to rebuild the motor as it was. This option would suit someone who is extremely picky wants a dead clean car with a freshly rebuilt motor or has a driveline available from a smashed car?

2 - Sell the car as a stock GTR. Strip the car of all its mods (sell all aftermarket mods i.e. turbos, wheels, brakes etc). Sell the car with stock rb26dett or as a complete car less motor.

3 - Strip the whole car down. Fully Strip car i.e. parts/panels etc.

4 - Keep the car and let it sit there until I have funds to fix.

Before the issue I was chasing $33,000. As said im looking for offers I would rather sell the car as a whole to someone who will get it back on the road as it truly is an amazing car. Still currently registered, basically all it needs is the motor back in it.

If you are interested please contact me immediately as I would like to make a decision with this ASAP.

Its a great looking car and very nice mods, very unfortunate to hear about the engine woes mate.

Hopefully something comes out of it for you whichever path you go down

Sympathy Bump

Thats fair enough If i dont get a decent offer I will just strip it or let it sit there.

As I said its perfect for someone who wants a clean GTR with all supporting mods and a FRESH motor. OR Someone who has a motor available but no car.
