Sorry if this drags on!!

Up for sale today was my key to the very unique look i was aiming for with my beloved Matte White Supra

A set of custom Chartreuse Yellow Work Meisters S1, all wrapped up in Kuhmo KU36 semi slicks

They were originally bought in average condition, but once i decided on the look i was after, they were sent off to Import Monster to get the royal treatment done.

It took about 5 months total to get the finished product, as new outers (painted dish) were sourced and machined to bold up to the centers and the inner section of the wheels

Dimensions of the rims are as follows:

Fronts

18"x10.5", offset is unknown

KU36's have roughly 70% tread left

Rears

18"x12", offset is also unknown

KU36's have roughly 10% left (only put these on to get from a to b, but the wheels did not fit)

One of the front wheels has a small section of paint chipped off due to my careless brother shifting them about :@

Ill stress it now, if you plan on fitting these to a stock bodied supra, i highly suggest you get yourself either a slight wide body or over fenders of some sort for the rear

When i test fitted them to my supra (stock guards) the fronts seemed fine, but the rears were my problem

In my opinion these are as awesome as f**k. (pardon the french)

I also highly advise test fitting before purchase, which can be arranged with me :)

Any interstate buyers, unless you are prepared to make your car fit the wheels, there is not much i can do in terms of test fitments :P

These wheels cost me a total of 5.7k in the end (purchasing, refurbishment, paint, assembly and tyres)

They have not been used since being assembled apart from two wheels being test fitted to my supra

I am looking for $5,000 as they are

It may seem like a lot to most people, but consider this

as far as i know, you can only purchase new Meisters with a maximum of around 10.5-11"? (correct me if i am wrong! :P)

and again as far as i know, they will cost a fraction over $4,000 for a set without tyres

These are very different and again have freshly been refurbished and never used

Words nor pictures cannot even begin to explain how damn sweet they look in the sun light.. you really have to see them in the flesh!

ill let the pictures do the talking

Reason for sale, my Supra will be sold soon to make room for a Stagea, and these are way too clean to use on my z20 drifter, so they must go!

I can be contacted on 0423 985 five seven one, and am located in VIC (Caroline Springs)

any questions, ill so my best to answer! these will be advertised on few forums so it will be first in, best dressed!

Cheers

Ken

cheers chris :)

ill find out both tyre sizes when i get back home later this arvo relyt

I think you will have better luck selling the wheels if you measure the offset with a ruler even if it is approximate it will only be like 1-2mm error

there are guides on how to do it all over the internet

also what are the disk spec on the faces, big brake clearance or pretty low disk?

iirc Meisters are available up to 18"x15" size from the Work site

just did a quick google search about diy offset measurement, ill have a crack at it tonight

What would you be referring to when you say 'disc spec on the faces'? i wouldn't have a clue :P

In regards to BBC, i am not entirely sure,

when i originally purchased the Meisters in their original form, they came off an RZ supra with big brakes, considering the facing is still the same id say it should still clear supra big brakes,

But this of course is SAU, so that's pretty much useless :P

Id be more than happy to test fit to any skylines, s15's and etc with big brakes! It would be helpful to know if they would clear for you guys or not :)

Cheers

Ken

also ill remove the section about the new work wheels, as i have been mistake :P

Cheers Roman!

these are mental! make ur car fit them, they will look awsome! tried getting my wheels painted in same vibrance but orange and the shop couldnt do it :/

that was the plan! but a m35 stagea is such a better option for me :P so the supras going!

Its very very tricky with colours as vibrant as these to do it, ill be doing the same theme hopefully to my z20 and my stagea when it eventually arrives!! :P

For some reason, i am un able to edit the first post, so ill put the offsets and tyre sizes here

If a mod is reading this, could you please edit the topic for me?

anyway they are as follows

FRONTS, -27 offset

TYRES, 235/40ZR18 95W

REARS, 0 offset

TYRES, 265/35ZR18 97W

Thanks guys!

Cheers

Ken

ah whoops! yes +27, pressed the wrong button

Callan, the wheels have been re-furbished and widened, so offsets have changed

Price Drop

4,800

If they have been widened and all that jazz, whoevers done the work should know what the offsets are. It would help with your sale.

Just offering my Personal experience here. Those fronts look to be something like 9.5 +24, and if it clear Supra big brakes, it will clear GTR/S15/[insert datsun] big brakes, and 6 Piston Alcon/Grex calipers, as Supra brakes are actually wider than them.

This is with 19 x 9.5 +20

The rears, these were my 19 x 11 +18 SSR on my Supra...which look ssimilar to the fitment on your Meisters. Hope that helps man.

damn ive always been jealous of your gorilla :P

thank you though!

anyway, yeah it is a bit of a pain not having specific offsets, but i am doing what i can, the offsets i measured are a few posts up anyway.. shame i cant modify the first post

but anyway test fitment is something i definitely suggest to any potential buyers as previously mentioned

Cheers

    • For these last 7 years of ownership, I've always had to use a small scissor jack under one of the front tow hooks to raise the front just enough so my low-profile jack fits under to reach my subframe jack point. I'm beginning to get annoyed of always having to do this. Are there any lower low-profile jacks that fit under the gtr lip on a dropped car?
    • Seat of the pants assessment of the new intake: The car is way less "doughy" when hitting the loud pedal, especially off idle when stopped or in traffic, I did use a cheapo lazer thermal thingo to measure the temp around where the pod filter got its air, it was between 55 - 60°C, in saying this the car was shut off and not moving, so the OEM intake pipe was not supplying any fresh air to where the pod was when the car was at least moving A weird bonus was induction noise on the throttle in the cabin increased a bit,  I was worried that I was actually going to lose some of that induction noise I love so much, outside though, when I got the daughter to do a WOT drive by pass for me, the induction noise has increased alot when on the throttle, not quite ITB doort, but well up there I'm extremely happy with the results and have been exploring the country roads in the region  As for house mods: 1.New front fence is up and is awesome, it really upgraded how the joint looks from the street, and the added security is nice 2. Electricians have replace some interior lights, and with more lighting in the garage, a few new motion detecting lights out the front above the garage, front room, and at the front door, which I have already found heaps helpful coming and going, also now has fancy pants CCTV all round the house The only hold point for power though is the solar and batteries due to supply issues, although this will happen over the next few weeks 3. I have done a heap of landscaping out the front and I'm almost ready to do a new small retaining wall with some nice blocks to replace the brick and cemented in rocks around the raised garden beds cemented in river stone "was the fashion at the time" the house was built. I currently have a pallet of retaining wall blocks and 2 bulka bags of 20mm blue metal to replace the wood chip that is in the raised garden beds around the house 4. I now have 3 big raised garden beds for out the back to grow some vegetables, about 70cm high, 200cm long and 100cm wide 5. My 2 compost bins are already pretty full with brown, green and kitchen waste from the landscaping I'vedone so far, but they will probably take a few months to break down, so anything else that gets chopped, trimmed, and kitchen waste will just start filling the base of the raised garden beds to about 30cm before I start throwing 40cm of good compost, and stuff, for the vegetables to grow in, I'll need a few ton of compost and soil, but the local supplier can sent me bulka bags of the stuff Basically the logs, wood chips and a few strategically placed rocks for drainage, will give the beds some good organic materials down low to break down over time, and they will hold moisture during the warmer months to save the water in my big arse water tank if we don't get alot of rain So, all in all, the car and house mods are going well, and I'm really enjoying being retired, I sleep in too 0700 and slowly plod around inside until I feel like actually doing anything, and only work in the yard for as long as want, which has actually been alot over the last few weeks,  although when you look at it, it seems that not a huge amount of work has been done,  until I look at the before I started the work pics Happy days and good times indeed
    • hahaha yeah. Plan is to get side skirts and probably just rear pods. But going to do them one-by-one. I've got a set that I really like from RHDJapen, but that one isn't shipped to AU. So need to find someone who can get it for me
