Hey fellow stagea owners,

Just need to clarify where about's the oil pressure sender location is on my rs four s stagea. Looking down at the oil filter there is a little spade piece that comes off to the side and i believe this is for a oil temperature gauge if I'am correct.

Used to own a R33 gts25t and the oil pressure sender replacement was just a screw in item to the block but i cannot seem to find anything which I could connect a oil pressure gauge to on my neo engine.

Has anyone got around to installing a aftermarket oil pressure gauge on their series 2 (rs four s) in particular as I'm getting around to installing one on my stagea soon.

Best regards Chris.

Yes I currently have an extension T'd off the warning light. It runs up to the bulkhead where the sender unit is screwed in.

When I install my oil cooler I will have another 5 or 6 places to choose from. Sorry its an S1 but I'm sure its the same.

I've found 3 options when I did mine ( rs4s ) t the light sensor fitting, buy a different sandwich olate or do what i did and get an m12x1.25 - 1/8bsp adapter and screw the sensor in the temp sensor hole.

Could you please possibly link me with a few photos Steven? Where is this light sensor fitting also.

May be interested in purchasing a new sandwich plate but where could I buy one from.. Just want the most practical option not too concerned about money at this stage.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
