I know this is the May 2012 thread, but these were taken back in the early 90's. I did take pics of them this month tho, so maybe that qualifies them? :P

Ah the memories. Good old Kodachrome. I gave up photography because it cost so much for film and processing. At least when you bought a roll of Kodachrome the processing was included in the price. Was sooooo good the day that the little box of slides arrived in the post, lol. Just like christmas.

Thanks for sharing Jay - I'm glad I didn't take photos in those days, I'm too impatient! I really like the last photo of the train too.

er, the framing is the actual slide holders (these are real tangible images you can hold in your hand :P

) i couldnt be stuffed pulling them all out of the frames or cropping them down. i need to get a proper slide/neg scanner one day.

if by head gear you mean the head strap... cheers, but i have one that i dont use myself, lol.

i started out with a Pentax K1000 that my brother "borrowed" from high school, haha. it had a leaky back pane that i would have to gaffa tape to stop the light getting in, I used it for months without a light meter until I discovered that you could replace the battery and it would start working :P

but those shots above were taken with a Canon EOS1000. it was $350 from a pawn shop and took almost 3 months to pay off (even tho i was working at the time)

it was a great camera, but I always wanted a Nikon, lol.

Nice image there colin. Keep posting more.

Fongy - EPIC MATE!!! awesome pics.

I think one of my best Indian bridal work yet:

I really wanted to create something elegant with images framed nicely which tell a story and make amazing album spreads. I stopped shooting heaps of pics and concentrated on showing a story.

Not going to flood this thread up.. Some samples. But rest on my blog.

moves around too much on your head doesnt it?

used it a few times for bike rides but since i had my third bike nicked and gave up on getting a new one the strappy thing has just lain there...along with my old Sony VX1000 and panasonic 3chip camera. Still have thousands of hours on DV tape to work out how to upload and edit one day too. FML

anyway love the new shots in here, especially that fiesta, not sure i have seen one of those IRL. where did u find it Richie?

goddamn i love Fish eye lenses..will be my first purchase along with an SLR..

awesome portraits Sidd!

created my biggest joinup pic so far tonight. 38 pics in total. full res measures over 100,000 pixels wide and the file was around 1.2GB before cropping and stuff. after resizing to 23657x600px @ 72dpi it went down to 11MB...

I've just stolen this photo and made a little change. The above might of been your exact goal, but I really wanted to make a slight change haha. It's an awesome photo, but thought I'd share another option of editing for you:

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
