Hey Girls

I need your opinions

As most of your are aware I am now carless with some money saved and after 7 months of being skylineless (oh how it hurts) I am ready to step back into the wet warm slippery (ohhh god i need a girlfriend) depths of skyline heaven

So what are your recomendations

I have currently these options avail to me

Get another R33 (too many around)

Get myself a cheap R32 Gts4-Turbo (as i cannot afford the full zilla)

for about 12K

J-spec (not P) will be importing it when they become avail in august to import

does anyone have any experience on how a r32 handles compared to a r33? i know the interior is shit but all the pictures i see are usually bad quality

thanks guys your advice, is appreciated

P.s GTR zilla saw you the other day at maccas, sorry for stalking you

don't get a GTS4 R32, its a really bad car handling wise, its not as maneuverable as the GTSt and its not as powerful as the GTSt. It has better grip but without proper GTR style ATESSA it'll work against you. You'd be better off settling for a GTSt.

One of the guys from j-spec bought a R32 1989 4 door for 1 Yen... hehe that's around 1.2c :D importing it here turned out to be prettycostly compared to that tho ;p

I'd also be of the opinion that without serious work, the GTS4 will be underpowered compared to a stockish gts-t.

find an r32 s-t with rb25det transplant.....or worse.....

If I was looking to buy another nissan at around that price I'd be thinking something mega cool.... while the 89 rules still exist. Leopard/cima/laurel/iron mask/ceffy.

Mate for 15G's dont waste your time on a r32 or a r33.....

If I was you I would look at getting a VL Calais Turbo with a RB26 Trasplant - theres a few going around. They look awesome, have the luxo interior and the power of a rb26.......

Can be had for 10-15g's....

Dan

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
