any one going to the mega meet on friday?

Was but now i am thinking i wont! Looked like a good thing but i just dunno about the whole defect situation of late!

1500+ cars. Don't leave first, don't leave last, and you'll be fine I reckon.

Most importantly, don't leave like a dickhead.

Yep i know, but after seeing the action at Top Gear it just deters me from taking the risk... I am not saying for others not to go, i just dont think its wise until i have a proper engineers certificate :)

Hmmm,i roll on 17's i'm a phag lol,on another note whens the next cruise. :action-smiley-069:

I thought that about you :P

We worked out the place to go and how to get there but no-one picked WHEN! lol

nice find Joel!

I shot him a low ball as I can't afford full price right now.

who knows I may still have some bargain luck left over from the motorbike and the evo haha

how's the bike riding going for you?

going great mat, ride it to work and tafe every day, havent been out of newcastle much, sugarloaf a couple times. its not really fast enough to really enjoy the open road but its great for around newy, 18 bucks for 350kms and its as fast as a stock as a rock gtt in a quarter mile, cant complain ay!

These words should not be spoken together! Shame on you!

hahahahah stock is so pathetic ay, the exhaust makes such a huge difference.

I got mine with 199kw and it was boring :P What power does the Banana Emo run?

no idea atm. if it has a hi flow probably 210 if I pump the boost, 220 if i get cams and a retune. right now while I haven't figured out how to raise the boost I'd guess.. 180-190 awkw from what I've read. I'm gunna service it then raise boost and put it on the dyno.

doesn't sound like much but they have the same stock quarter mile time as a gtr at 130 or 140Kw hah. 13.1 seconds apparently?

Give it a run on a Wednesday night? I will once i get some days off at work! Need to get holdiays lol

13.1 is pretty quick, launch that four paw!!!

What boost controller?

umm it'll have to be in tafe holidays but I'd be keen for a go, will have to learn how to launch haha.

I got a hks evc 5 in it.

can't find a setup manual for it, there always different so idk. gunna have a play around with it.

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
