My long term project car is up for sale

Have owned the car since it was a rb20, and have done all the modifications from scratch

Unfortunately for myself, fortunately for whoever buys the car, financially this is the best option for me at the moment. It's my third car, and it only gets driven once a fortnight, at best, so at this stage in my life, I cannot justify having that much money sitting there doing nothing.

Well over 20k spent on the car since purchase. Have receipts for all work as it was all done through reputable Brisbane mechanics

Car made 385rwhp at 16psi

Car has never been to the track, apart from two SAU drag days and one SAU happy laps session, which was in the rain, and has an enforced speed limit. It does not even require you to wear a helmet.

Asking price is $12 000 without the workmeisters. Instead the car will come with 18x9.5 Advans. Will get some pics of the car with them fitted by the end of next week.

Workmeisters can come with the car for $14 000

Plates are not included.

Please note:

Firstly , I am not negotiable on the price at all. If the car does not sell for the asking price, it will remain in my possession, so please do not waste your, and more importantly, my time by offering me less than the asking price.

Secondly, I am happy to have the car inspected by a mechanic at my convenience. I am also happy to take interested parties for a short drive. Due to the car being uninsured, I will not allow any test drivers until a 10% deposit is made.

Build thread is here for any further info, pics and a brief history on the car

You mention track ready and 20K spent, is the engine built or standard ?

Does it have a larger capacity sump or standard ?

What ECU is it running ?

What Oil and Water pump is it running ?

How many k's has the motor done ?

Reasonably keen...

Thanks.

Keen to know this as well. Also is the Aircon removed? Anything needed for RWC?

Engine is standard. Don't know exact k's as it came off a half cut with what I thought were bullshit low k's for the age of the car.

Can't believe I forgot to write the ecu is a power fc.

For RWC you would need to hook up windscreen washers and hook up the speedo, both which are easy enough to do but I hadn't gotten around to.

Depending on how picky you RWC guy is, he may want you to raise the car by a few cm to clear the diff.

All the big mods are mod plated so you should not have any major dramas.

Car is no longer for sale. Have decided to part it all out instead. Part prices can be seen bellow:

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
