carlightsup
Hey. My understanding is the GTS wheels are 4stud, can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have a set they are looking to sell? Cheers Carl. GTRKat
I can't confirm for the 32 but I'd assume yes because they definitely are on the R33 GTS Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6463607 Share on other sites
GTR_NUTZ
32 gtr and gtst are both 5 stud. Same size rim. Gtr are forged. Gtst are cast. Not 100% sure about this but I'm pretty certain 4 stud are on NA 32 33. Unless being 5 stud converted. I probably would try that if I had an NA 32 :-) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6463716 Share on other sites
Sinista32
So Nissan put a 4 stud on GTS's. I don't get that - why be different? Surely changing tooling and materials wouldn't make sense and cost $$. Oh well ... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6463854 Share on other sites

carlightsup
Yeah I don't really understand why they did it that way. Thanks troy... I would like to find some closer as I guess wheels are pretty expensive to ship. GTRKat
Depending on the courier and distance, I've found wheels tend to be around the $80-$100 mark to ship for all 4 with e-go Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6464047 Share on other sites

I want to put them on my R30, hence needing the 4 studs... If I'm picturing the s13 wheels right they aren't really what I'm looking for... I appreciate the offer though dude :-) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6464966 Share on other sites

D.I.Y. Mik
Surely theres hundreds of rims at wreckers around town, And theres the classifieds (allhomes is canberra times) where i see about a hundred ads right now. So im sure you will find something you like. Phone credit is what you need, then start ringing them all, youll find em cheap too, cos rims are a dime a dozen. You can even get new rims for less than $100 each. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6465404 Share on other sites

carlightsup
I thought it was cheaper for nissan, considering the gts were the cheapest models I would think that making them all the same would be more cost effective though... zebra
Nah, because the turbo cars gave the big brakes etc Nissan would've used parts bin stuff for the gts rather than develop new hubs and calipers etc for the base models Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405754-wtb-r32-gts-wheels/#findComment-6467328 Share on other sites
