Hey, you know how Turbo is illegal for P Platers in NSW. Is there a way to get the engine modified to have the turbo's underneath or in the middle of the engine, or some place where they are hidden and if a copper looks inside the engine they can't see them?

Yeah, remove the sump, fit the turbo in there and re-fit the sump and no-one but you will ever know its there

Remember to re wire the turbo to the air control unit otherwise it will leak fluid and the cop might see that.

But yeah do this!

Cheap as well it's about $250 from what I remember when I did it on my P's

But for serial, mount turbo in wheel arch.

They never look there.

You ask a question, people answer, then you get upset at them. They even gave you the answer you wanted, yes it's possible, via any number of ways. your only other option is to remove the turbos all together and run an NA ecu until you are on your open licence, but you will lose performance.

I would do this, much less effort. Ask Benji "Bakemonoricer". He's also good with rotary head gaskets if you ever go down that road.

      I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).

      Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.

      The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.

      Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum.
